"This hotel was spotlessly clean including (most importantly) the towels, bedding and the small balcony. Reception was manned at all times and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. They arranged airport travel for us and offered to book excursions in advance of our arrival and were on hand to answer any questions we might have had. The kitchen area was sufficiently stocked with plenty of cutlery and cups/plates etc. and the open plan living/kitchen area was very spacious. There was air conditioning in this room and the bedroom which was welcome at night. Finally, the location of this hotel was perfect. Very close to all attractions in the old town and the train station. That being said, it was very quiet and we heard no noise apart from the birds chirping in the nearby trees. We will most definitely return and are so glad we found this little gem of a hotel 😊"

"We were impressed at the design of the room which managed to maximise the limited space in a functional and aesthetic way. Though the premise was busy on our one night stay the effective room insulation and quality of bed ensured a good nights sleep. Staff at check in were both pleasant and efficient."

"We had an exceptional stay at the Balthazar hotel. The rooms were lovely and the staff was very attentive. The location is in the heart of old town but was still very quiet and relaxing. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. We especially loved the luxurious Molton Brown bath products."
