Great stay

We had an awesome trip here at iconic awesome location with a lot of shops.

We stayed for two nights at Light Hotel in December 2016. What stood for my family was the quality of service of the hotel staff who greeted and serviced us from the time we stepped in till we left three days later. The F&B staff were especially fantastic and were very accommodating to our requests for vegetarian food due religious reasons.

Room was quite large, newly furnished, and smelled clean and fresh. The breakfast was fairly sizable, but basically the same thing every day, the swimming pool was great, very clean amenities.

The hotel may look normal from the outside. But the interior is beautiful and clean. The hotel provides underground carpark facilities. There are ample slots too. Bed is very comfortable and the TV programe are in HD!

We stayed here two nights (23+24 June 2014) while on a round trip in Malaysia. This hotel is pricey compared to the other hotels/B&B in the neighborhood, but its definitely worth the price. The hotel looks like the pictures and has very nice calm over it. Service is great, we didn't had a refrigerator in the room but they just put a mini refrigerator in the room since we had something to celebrate! The amazimg sea view and spacious rooms are so impressive. The staff are very helpful and nice. Highly recommend to family travel.

This is the hotel that I will never miss to reserve whenever I'm in Penang (even though it was only a night of stay in this trip), I've also introduced my friend to this hotel in the past which he used it for his proposal as I feel this is one of best hotel I've stayed in all my travelling to different countries. super convenient, located near major sites. Best of all was the service, we were a family of 5, arranged an airport transfer for us, upgraded us to a family suite as it was Mother's Day and my dad's birthday. Accommodated a late check in and late check out request, gave good dining suggestions. And of course, the beautiful heritage mansion. Highly recommended for those going to Penang!

My family loves this unit, especially my 12yo girl. She loves the vibes and design. Though it's not very spacious, but big enough for three of us. Unit is well-equipped too, with cooking utensils, shower gel and shampoo, clean towels, washing machine... And alot more 🙂 Dennis was very kind to bring over an umbrella for this rainy seasons. He gave very clear instructions and directions to get into the unit too, so both check-in and out, were smooth and easy. P/S : various New Year's Countdown...

Very large rooms at reasonable prices. Business suite is very conducive even for meetings if need be. Most amenities are provided in the room and others may be available upon request. Only caveat is that there are many switches in the room including those that power the air conditioner and the water heater and it is not easy to figure out what is for what.
