The property is in a great location. It has beautiful gardens and pool area. The only thing that was disappointing was the shower pressure was not great. The staff were great and accommodating.

I did not get my favourite cleaner, Friski, as requested. A very cheerful and happy guy, Sudiana, appeared shortly, but they sadly took him away from cleaning my room. Why can’t you choose your favourite cleaner? 😉 I really love their pool and the garden around it! The place is a bit dated but the price and the lovely staff make up to it! Have booked here 5 years now and probably next year, too!

The property itself was really nice, with a garden like appearance. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room price was very reasonable. And even though the area of town is very touristy, busy and noisy, the hotel itself was quiet and relaxing. The pools, restaurant and breakfast are great. My only 'complaint' is not about the property. Kuta Beach is a lively part of Bali. There are so many convenient places to eat, shop and explore. This hotel was perhaps the best one I have had to date. My concern is with the people on the street constantly soliciting Cialis, Viagra and prostitutes. I've been to Kuta several times and this problem seems to have become worse. I only hope that local authorities can help stop this. It ruins the good experiences that nice hotels like Melasti can provide.

We booked 8 nights. After checking in the first shock was the strange musty smell in the room. We decided to see if would clear after opening the room up but by the next morning and after a bad nights sleap it was still there. The shower did not work because there was not enough water pressure and the bathroom was drab and dirty. We booked another hotel and moved out after 1 night.

It is an older property and the gardens are beautiful. We didn’t get to the pool as it was raining the day we stayed. It needs a good overhaul but I understand that may take some time. The location was great so we would definitely consider another stay if we were on a budget.

Worst conditions, unsanitary bathrooms and mold everywhere. Wouldn't recommend staying. I only stayed here one night and it was not pleasant. Please do not stay unless you are on an extreme budget.
