Property was pretty decent overall for a good price. Only main issue is that they advertise that they have AC and none of the rooms actually do. Huge inconvenience in the summer and led to us leaving early.

They have a lot of bed bugs that bite me all over and they put a lot of moth balls inside the bathroom and the smell of the moth balls are unbearable and makes it hard to breathe.

The pool was amazing and was not over chlorinated. We chose the basic room but it met all our needs. The terrace was nice to hang out on and we were happy about the rubbish bins and clothes hanger. It was relatively quiet as well.

The staff were nice and helpful. They bring breakfast right to your patio- banana pancakes, fruit and coffee. We chose the basic room. Fan, table, bed and bathroom. No hot water but it’s not needed with the warm weather.

Stay here - you won’t regret it.
People love this place, and I can see why! In addition to being in a great location and being comfortable and clean, the staff are both helpful and enjoyable to be around. I felt at home during my stay, and would not hesitate to stay again :) I even met someone who travels to the area often, has stayed in lots of places in the area, and keeps returning here. The breakfast, pool, and quiet location in the middle of the Poppies are a treat.

Not bad for the money
Just spent a week at Waringin and it wasn’t too bad. The air conditioning didn’t work properly and it was quite hot and hard to sleep. I asked to get it looked at but nothing happened. Apart from that, it was pretty good. The staff are nice and the pool is nicely maintained. So if the A/C was better I’d stay again. Great location with a nice little local Warung with a bamboo bar which was great for a cold beer. Nice and close to Poppies Lane which has it all, so all in all, a good stay

Good location and value for money.
Very easy to aces from Poppies 2 or Sky Garden. Plenty of places around to eat or drink. Waringin is a good place considering the cost. It can be noisy but then again you are in Kuta. The rooms are clean enough, more so than other homestays in the area. I would go back.

Depends which room you get!
When we checked into the standard double room here it was so dark and depressing, hardly any natural light and only one rubbish light bulb it felt like the middle of the night. The bathroom was tiny, with the drain in opposite corner to the shower (why!) meaning the whole floor gets soaked. That night we were woken by loud drunk guys in the pool at 3am even though the pool is supposed to be closed at nights, clearly they do nothing to enforce it. The staff were also rude and unhelpful. For the same price you can definitely get a better place elsewhere (like Ronta Bungalows round the corner). We asked the next day if we could please only stay for 2 nights rather than the 3 we had booked, they refused but said we could use the third night another time. So we came back for 1 night a week later, again in a standard double room, this time the room was soo much better. More windows, more light, a decent lightbulb, bigger room, bigger and nicer bathroom, nicer floor & ceiling.. So definitely a mixed bag. The rooms shouldn't all be the same price when some are so much better than others!!

Would recommend.
Very clean spacious room. Great location. Close to Kuta beach and all activities, but tucked away in smaller streets - away from the noise. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and facilities kept very clean. Would recommend.

It is always great pleasure to stay at this hotel - the staff is friendly and kind, the hotel is in a good condition, the location is perfect for various reasons and provides nice access to many fun things in Bali. Thanks a lot!

hard to find and access
The homestay is at the end of three alleys. It is definitely hard to find and access. You always have to get out the three alleys before you can go anywhere which is annoying especially if you are walking. When we arrived there, the frond desk guy had an cold face and told us they don't have our reservation even with the confirmation number I provided. He called the owner over, and we decided we don't wanna stay there anymore, the owner was nice and patient, he agreed on refund since they don't have our reservation and we didn't stay, and told me to request refund on hotels.com. When I requested refund on hotels.com, the customer service told me that the homestay refused refund without any proof and never answer me back my further questions. So I don't know if the owner meant to keep his word.

Nice, Budget spot, Close to beach and bars.
I travelled alone and stayed here for 5 nights. It is located about 10 mins from the beach, and 5 mins from the bars,shops and restaurants which is ideal. The staff are all lovely and friendly, and very helpful. Something to note: If you pick the basic room it has a cold shower, and fan not A/C. The cold shower is not so bad when it's warm, but the room was so hot even with the fan running 24/7. Nice pool, and the whole place is always kept clean, pretty quiet and a nice peaceful place to stay, but not to far from the hustle n bustle. Thanks Guys - Dais

In the heart of Kuta
Staff were friendly and helpful, location is close to everything, though quiet and we slept well. Upgraded room with air con, crazy not to get in wet season as humidity is high. Overall for what you pay the superior rooms were great as we didn't spend much time at the place other than sleep.

Cheap and great location
While not flash, for the price it was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent, being walking distance to most things while being tucked away in a lane between poppies 1 and 2. Bring your own extra towels as none provided, floor towels etc. No soap or toiletries at all. Breakfast delivered to your room, pancakes and tea and coffee was very nice. Staff helpful

Wasn't the right choice
Was here only for a night and i just thought i have chosen the wrong place once i got there. The room was fanned no aircon.. I didn't pay attention on the description it only said standard room on the tittle. I think they need to emphasise it on the title. No elevator so i had to keep my big luggage at the reception. Need to bring your own shampoo and soap. It was clean and view was okay. location is not okay for me, because it wasn't accessable for taxi to get there.. Very small street. So i needed to book airport transfer which cost me AUD$10 or Rp. 100.000. Anyway the spot is probably good for backpackers, but there are dozens of place out there nearby kuta beach with cheaper prices. Staff was helpful so, its not their fault the hotel sucks hehe

This nicely located hotel is just off of the Kuta beach, 5 minutes walk. It’s a hidden gem. It’s the only quiet area in Kuta. The room is very basic no TV or aircon, but has a fan. I had a cold shower so just make sure that you ask for a hot shower room. The hotel staff are really friendly, and you get a nice little pancake and coffee breakfast in the morning, which is good for the price you pay. I will stay here again.

Really nice location
Nice place, with swimmingpool and great rooms. Awesome location!!!!! Breakfast was okay, but it is small portion, so you need to eat some more right after. I would definitely recommend this place! Cheap place to stay, but really good value for money!

gemütlich etwas spartanisch. wifi superschlecht.
im herzen von kut zwischen poppies 1und 2.mit kleinem pool. ac funktioniert gut.deckenventilator zuerst kaputt, nach reperatur viel zu langsam.nach dem aufwachen balkon in der gleissenden sonne, ab zehn uhr im schatten. frühstück spartanisch zwischen 8 und 10. dusche morgens kalt, wegen solarehitzung und ungenügender kaltwasserisolierung kochend heiss (auch das kaltwasser). ich war schon mehrfach hier, aber die unterkunft ist nur für nicht verwöhnte backpacker.motorradmiete zu vertretbarem preis. zimmerreinigung ab und zu- auf wunsch. nicht weit von der beach.

2박했음.. 좀 더 비싼 방은 2층짜리 건물, 수영장 바로옆에있는것이고, 그게 사진에 보이는 건물인데.. 저렴한 가격방을 구매한다면 그 2층짜리 건물에서 방을 주는게 아니라 반대쪽으로 1층에 방들이 있음. 그 방들은 에어컨이 없고 따뜻한물이 안나옴. 방 청소 상태는 깨끗하나, 에어컨이없고 천장에 돌아가는 선풍기가 있기때문에 통풍을 위해서인데 벽 위쪽이 뚫려있음 그래서 소음 차단이 아예안됨. 둘째날 자는데 어떤 ㅁ ㅣ친놈이 새벽3시에서 4시에 술처먹었는지.. 노래를 정말 크게 부르고 이상한 주문같은걸 계속 반복해서 외우는데도 스태프가 나와서 말리질않음. 도저히 잠을 잘수가없는 환경이였음. 정말 백팩커..싼곳 원하지않는이상 여기를 선택하지마셈

リッチが良く、皆フレンドリー
ビーチや繁華街は徒歩圏内で立地はいいです。スタッフがフレンドリーでとても親切でした。シャワーはお湯が出ます。エアコン無しの部屋でしたがシーリングファンで十分すごせました。朝食もおいしくいただきました！

4回目の利用です。スタッフが愛想良くて親切で最高です！シャワーの温度調節が難しくて水圧が弱い、道が狭くてタクシーは手前で降ろされます。でもスタッフの人柄でカバー出来ます❤️

Rough but cheap
Location was ok, 3 stars are a bit exaggerated. Staff was friendly and brekkie with banana pancake and fruit and coffee quite basic. Pool was nice and after swim it was easier to go to cold shower as there is no warm water at all. Room was rough but at least there was the fan. You'll need earplugs if you want to sleep. Considering what you get, the price is still very good :)

ホテルの場所は細くて狭い道を通らないと行けないので、タクシー運転手は嫌がります。 中には狭いのでクタビーチ(徒歩7、8分)の所でいいかと言われます。 場所だけ考えると次は無いと思うのですが、従業員がみんなフレンドリーで愛想よく仲良くなったので、2年連続泊まりました。 次もきっとバリ島行くのでこの従業員達に会いにここのホテルを選びます。

コスパ重視ならOK
予約する際、喫煙可としか書かなかったら、エアコンなし、シャワーは水だけの部屋（価格重視の部屋）になりました。 エアコンはなくてもファンはあるので、多少音は出ますが暑さが苦手でなく、風に当たりっぱなしで大丈夫な人は問題なしです。 シャワーが水だけなのも平均的に気温は高いので、最初ちょっと我慢すれば耐えられないことはないです。 ただ、トイレとシャワーが間仕切りなしの近い場所にあり、排水溝が出入り口近くにある為、シャワーを浴びると床が水浸しになり、トイレに行くにも靴を履かないと行けないです。 トイレットペーパーは付いていませんでしたが、スタッフにお願いすれば貰えます。 wifiの繋がりは問題ありませんでした。 エアコンありで温水シャワーありの部屋には追加料金（1泊千円程度）を払えば変えて貰えます。（空き部屋があれば） そこは、シャワーとトイレが少し離れており、水浸しにはなりません。 洗面所も仕切りがあるので、濡れずに行けます。 ただし、部屋の場所にもよりますがwifiの繋がりは悪かったです。 また、wifiは制限があるらしく使えないアプリもありました。 従業員の方はみなとても親切で物腰も柔らかく、朝食のバナナパンケーキは絶品なので 細かいことを気にしない旅行慣れした方にはお勧め出来る宿だと思います。 ホテルの場所は少しわかりにくいですが、繁華街に歩いていける割にとても静かで治安も気にする程ではなかったので そういった点も悪くないと思います。
