位置極佳

位置離巴士「東山三條」及「知恩院前」很近，距離地鐵「東山三條」也很近，距離京阪電車「三條」及地鐵「三條京阪」略遠一些，但也在走路10分鐘以內。位置非常方便。房間寬敞，設備齊全，十分整潔。

洗面所のタオルが臭いがしたのと、タオル入れのカゴからフワフワとした埃があり、気になりましたが、スタッフさんの対応はとても良く親切にしていただきました。部屋の広さも2人で泊まるにはちょうど良い広さだし、近くに駐車場があり便利なのでまた利用したいと思っています。

Nice little apart-hotel near Higashiyama

This is a fine example of a small apart-hotel group in Kyoto. I discovered that there are several other "Rinn" venues dotted around the city. Concierge service is only available during the daytime, but they make every effort to make check-in & check-out as smooth as possible. The few staff I encountered were charming and helpful. Being something of an apart-hotel, my room included a small kitchenette, which means the room is bigger than the average tiny room of a modern hotel. This particular "Rinn" seemed to be very new, so everything was in top condition. Inevitably, what appeared to be a window was a view onto the wall of the immediately-neighbouring building. The area is very quiet & pleasant, away from the hustle & bustle of downtown Kyoto & just a few minutes walk from Higashiyama station.

You can’t go wrong by staying here.

Given that all other hotels I stayed in japan were tiny, the size of the room came as a surprise. This is a service apartment with a separate kitchen and bedroom. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If I am in Kyoto, I would stay here again. Only thing to note is that there is a $20 fee if you Check out later than 10:00 AM

長期滞在型？

キッチン・レンジ付きで長期滞在型、且つ海外からの観光客ターゲットと思われます。ファミマ、スーパーが至近にあり自炊には便利ですが、調理器具・食器類は全てレンタルなので実質的には不経済かもしれません。タオル類と掃除は申し出制ですが、バスタオルや足拭きマットを掛ける場所がないので、折角の制度も片手落ち感が漂います。併せて収納が少なくスーツケース置き場も用意されていないので、コンセプトと室礼のギャップが残念です(当方は国内・2泊なので実害はさほどありませんが)。 新しいホテルなので、バスルームも綺麗で清潔感はありました。が、分別ゴミ箱に前泊者のゴミが残っていたのはいただけません。 部屋の場所は1階のレセプションの並び、入口がエレベーターの正面に位置していました。バスルームもエレベーター側にあるので、通りがかりの方達に音が丸聞こえでは？と、気になりました。ドアスコープも部屋内丸見え(手持ちの養生テープで塞ぎました)状態で、カバーが欲しいと思いました。あそこはスタッフルームにすべきでしょう。 チェックイン時間にフレキシブルに対応いただけたことは、助かりました。新しいホテルなのに、昔ながらの旅館のような鍵で、ドアも自動ロックではないことに少し驚きましたが、国外の方には案外受けるのかもしれませんね。 信三郎帆布のすぐ側で、繁華街からは少し離れていて閑静なのはいいですね。離れているとはいえ、10分も歩けば祇園や四条に出られるので、立地は大変良いとお思います。違う部屋だったら、また泊まりたいかもしれません。

お風呂とUSB充電があり、値段も手頃な宿

皆さんが言うようにwi-fiが全く繋がらない、脆弱なのは難点ですが、言わば8畳くらいの1Kマンションと言う作りで、キッチンもあり、新しく綺麗でした。 2Fの部屋は静かで、安心感もあり良かったです。 また、USB充電もあるので、便利でした。 室内には無料通話、インターネットが出来るアンドロイドスマホがありますが、これまた使いにくく、検索もしにくいので、ニュースを見るなど暇つぶしにしかなりませんでした。 近くには行列している、マルシン飯店と言う大衆中華屋があり、とても気になりました。 何度かテレビに出ているところとか。 ロケーションも東山駅近で、バスも東山三条のバス停が近く、コンビニと24hスーパーも目と鼻の先です。

Ruhige Mini-Apartments in guter Lage

Das Rinn Higashiyama Sanjo ist kein Hotel im klassischen Sinn, sondern bietet betreute Apartments, die nicht täglich gereinigt werden. Wenn man in diesem Punkt keine zu großen Erwartungen hat, wird man allerdings definitiv nicht enttäuscht. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit, auch wenn man in der Kommunikation an der Rezeption manchmal ein wenig die Sprachbarriere merkt. Die Zimmer sind funktional ausgestattet, für japanische Verhältnisse normal groß und relativ ruhig. Das Rinn ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (U-Bahn) sehr gut erreichbar und liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, allerdings in fußläufiger Entfernung zu einigen bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten Kyotos. Kleinere Verbesserungspotenziale gibt es noch bei der Bandbreite des WLAN und der Ausstattung der Küche. Insgesamt hinterlässt das Rinn bei mir aber einen sehr positiven Eindruck.

Comfortable hotel with lovely staff

We enjoyed our stay here. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and it is well located for exploring this part of Kyoto. The staff were very helpful.
