"Beautiful hotel. Excellent room, facilities and good dining choices... we used The Outpost for dinner and the restaurant for breakfast, good choice in both and high quality food. All staff we met were friendly efficient and very engaging. The hotel shuttle to Lake Louise was free, ran regularly and was a much better option than self-driving there"

"Nice quiet place to stay when visiting the parks. Off the beaten track. Quaint place with lots of character. Great meal (priced high but worth it). While close to the highway, the noise was reasonable. Slept incredibly well…"

"Amazing location. We stayed in the main lodge, but there are separate cabins. The view of the nearby moutains is incredible. The lodge is off-grid, but they generate their own power. There is a river within walking distance. An artesian spring bubbles up from the parking area. The water in the area is blue from minerals. It's right in the heart of the Rockies near Golden, BC. It's well worth the visit. Staff is helpful and accommodating. We had a nice chat with the manager."
