Old World Charm

Excellent "old-style" hotel. Service is very accommodating and staff attentive. Very clean rooms and restaurant. Breakfast has a nice choice of hot and cold items, fruits, cereal and yogurt.

The property is very beautiful and well kept. While the sound buffering between the rooms wasn't optimal, the hotel was relatively quiet. The homes were nice and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The restaurant onsite was excellent with more dining options close by!! The location was perfect for my trip.

Great location, hotel surrounded by trees. For party of 4 I was given a room with with two separate chambers and it’s own bathrooms. Food at hotel’s restaurant was delicious and staff very friendly.

Beautiful property located up on a small mountain out of the town. The rooms are a little dated but still clean and adequate. I would recommend this hotel. A great breakfast included at a very reasonable price.

Great location and very nice setting. The breakfast is great but the beds need to be updated as they are extremely uncomfortable. Super small shower. Good value for the price.

Very close to castle. Reasonably nice European style rooms and ours were quite large for the price. Quiet area and lovely grounds around the hotel. There is a warm breakfast available in the morning. Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating.

This hotel has no air conditioning. Fans are usually fine for Europe, but the room only had a table fan. The shower was so small, turning around turned the water off. The hotel is near trails, Nanstein Castle, and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Breakfast was excellent, and staff was kind. This stay would be more tolerable in the winter.

Right below Burg Nanstein. Beautiful and quiet location. Feel like you're deep in the woods of the Rhineland. I lived in the KMC for nine years and always was charmed by the look of this place. So my Temporary Lodging was spent here upon my departure. It was a great choice. Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast.

The free breakfast is a major " "! Loved the peace and quiet. Disliked the shower situation; just install a proper shower cabin and do away with that half open/closed bathtub area thing that leaves water all over the bathroom floor.

I really liked the quiet surroundings. The room was very clean. Very nice terras to enjoy the surroundings. It was a pity that there was no airconditioning in the room but the room was very neat. Breakfast was ok but not much choice. People at the reception were not really guestfriendly or easy approachable.

Facilities were great, dinner was fabulous. One suggestion is that the facility should offer fans in the room for air circulation as air conditioning is not available. Also replace the under performing down pillows.

It’s a holiday at check in so nobody was available to check us in called phone on wall and key was in drop box we checked our room it’s has no internet and nobody answered phone so we left immediately Needless to say it’s not a pleasant experience
