"Went in March '26. Picked this hotel in part because fo the advertised, "Best Breakfast Buffet", it was NOT. Probably one of the worse buffet I've been to in a while. No variety and no flavor. Hotel itself was in good shape for it's age, but FYI, there ongoing very loud construction next door that starts around 7A so do NOT expect to sleep in. The hotel was empty given the recent issues but staff would NOT give room upgrade on request."

"We stayed here a week family of 4. The resort was very clean and staff extremely friendly. Our only complaints are night life ends early. Music and bars shut down early in our opinion. Only one bar open later and it's in the lobby so a bit of a walk from the dance floor. When it's busy the line up was nuts. Food was good but restaurants werent all open and the menus were a bit confusing. Buffet was always the same spread. Late night tacos were great. The beach is beautiful and the ocean views from rooms are breathtaking. All in all was a good time. "

"A small resort that was everything our family needed. Despite being located right off the main road, the property is a beautiful oasis. All 4 of us, including two boys (12 & 15), loved the buffet and pool. A special shout-out to David and Angel for keeping us full of yummy, frozen drinks. The beach is quick and easy to get to, and fantastic for those who love beach walking, swimming, or just sitting and people-watching. Our room was on an upper level, with a high ceiling. It took us a night to get used to the sound of the AC, but appeciated the comfort it provided. We loved the balcony, even though it's only (just) big enough for two, as the flowers and mature trees are really lovely. There are restaurants and stores (including Walmart) within walking distance. The marina, as well, is close. We only ventured downtown twice and it was very easy to catch an Uber from the front entrance of the hotel and took 10-15 minutes. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone, with or without kids, who wants a truly laid-back experience."
