"Great hotel, room was very modern, clean and comfortable with beautiful Mountain views. Great location, near ski lifts and ski bus across the road. Breakfast was excellent, wide range of options, 6 courses at dinner was excellent. Afternoon snack was delicious too and great for when you come off the slopes. Loved the spa especially the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Dressing gown slippers and towels provided. Will definitely be back. "

"Good location for Merano 2000 cable car and botanical gardens. It is 3k from Merano centre and while there is a bus taking the car was more convient for us, parking on edge of town. The hotel itself is part of camping hermitage, which seems to be main focus. The hotel could use some re-imagining. For example, removing the net curtains obscuring the great view. "Built in the 1500’s this place has been modernized for comfort. Beautiful remote area. Wonderful staff running the place. Great views! Quaint little bar on the first floor that offers cocktails and meats and cheeses. Very comfortable large king room. There is a library where one can relax and read or play games.Breakfast was very European with eggs cooked to order. Keep in mind there are stairs and no lift to keep the history alive.This place will forever be imbedded in my heart."
