Away Bali Hotel is the best place to stay in Legian Beach full stop. The customer service is more than you’d expect and the location is perfect regardless of your vacation goals.

I had a wonderful stay at Away Bali Resort. The hotel is in a great location- easy access to the beach and shopping areas around Legian. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The rooms are always cleaned to a high standard. The breakfast is fantastic- a lot of choice and I especially enjoyed the Indonesian style options and the fabulous espresso coffee. I loved the two pools at the resort and staff were always on standby to provide cold drinks at poolside. The best thing I feel about the resort was the staff- I cannot speak highly enough of them; friendly, polite, helpful, kind, professional, always smiling and they were always wanting to assist and make my stay comfortable. Any issue at all was quickly resolved and the customer liaison, Suci, would follow up to ensure the issue had been resolved and that I was happy. Excellent service! Thank you for a very comfortable and relaxing stay, I will be back!

We are so pleased that we booked to stay at ‘Away’ as the hotel was fabulous and cannot fault the staff as they were all so friendly and wanting to make sure that your stay was perfect. From checking in to checking out - fantastic! We had a deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the pool area and the room was so spacious, the bed was huge and so, so comfortable. We had water left in our rooms every morning with the clean, which again was excellent. The air conditioning in the room was excellent and kept you very comfortable, day and night. The breakfast each morning was very good. Again you were made to feel very welcome and we always managed to get a table whatever time we went down. We used the pool near the Beach Bar for sunbathing and the infinity pool is lovely and again, the staff there were fabulous. A special mention to Suci the Guest Relations officer who was an amazing lady, always smiling and having a chat with you. We will certainly be back next year and look forward to seeing ‘our Away friends’ again.

The adjoining room that we had with another family next to us kid was very noisy kept knocking on the door especially very early in the morning we got asked to move to another room which they accommodated pretty promptly which was great to see also breakfast was pretty average could have been a bit better for a four-star resort also the gym area very small and not very accommodating especially for people that actually training use weights rather than that the staff were great the resort is situated in a great area very close to everything and was very clean we'll consider staying again at some stage if the price is right I think was a bit expensive for what it is

Really nice place great rooms excellent staff however pool was so hot you got no relief from the heat and the elevator would only take two people was slow and we wetr on top floor we were over the stairs in the end

Perfect location, close to the beach, close to restaurants, shopping and all amenities. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to provide help when required. Rooms are comfortable with adequate amenities. Food at the hotel was tasty. Drinks at the hotel were a let down.

Centrally located between Seminyak and Kuta. Hotel staff professional and friendly. Hotel older but presented well Some rooms are very tired and need some renovations, especially the bathrooms. Rooms were quite big and needed some more cupboard space and PowerPoints. Pool area very picturesque with a friendly vibe.

A lovely hotel, although we received none of our VIP benefits. Our check in was a nightmare, as we didn’t have access to our room until quite a while after the check in time. Outside of these negatives, it was a lovely hotel in a great location, with nice rooms.

Beautiful Bali
Had a great stay at the Camakila, have stayed here many times and it is starting to look a little tired but it is in a fantastic location for beach, restaurants and shopping. The Spa here is amazing with the girls all being very professional. Only complaint is that I booked a twin room for my daughter and myself and we were given a king room and they had no twin rooms for us to change to but we made it work

rooms were clean and tidy, staff lovely and friendly. The only thing I didnt like was not enough room around the pool to put lounge chairs so they were all on a deck further down away from the pool. All of them being outside of the rooms further down and as we are non smokers we had people laying outside our room smoking and that meant we couldnt sit outside of our room or open that door.

THE HOTEL HAS DIRECT BEACH ACCESS BUT ITS AN OLDER HOTEL AND THE ROOMS ARE RUN DOWN. THE BREAKFAST AREA IS NICE AND COZY. THE BEACH IN FRONT IS DIRTY ESPECIALLY DURING RAINY SEASON. ITS A CUTE HOTEL AND THE STAFF IS VERY NICE.
