When we checked in at the Sakaye we found the sheets and some pillowcases where dirty, I mean round brown stains on sheets. Tried to take a shower in the bath and there was hair everywhere, dirty water was filling in the bath because the stopper was not working. Did not like the idea of a shower/bath in one. Complained and was upgraded to another room and everything was clean. Did not like having a shower in the bath and found it too high for me and the kids to climb into, the staff gave me a stool to climb in which was good. We had our own pool and it was lovely. The buffet was very disappointing and they don’t have a lot of options. Place and furniture is a bit outdated for a luxury villa. Not worth the price we paid.

Our whole team work extremely hard to deliver a fantastic product with outstanding service on our beautiful island. First of all, we are very sorry that we did not live up to your expectations and that you did not have a wonderful holiday with us. Guest satisfaction is always our priority and we do work incredibly hard to make sure that each and every guests is treated with care and we aim to provide a wonderful experience for everyone at our Villa. We do apologize for this inconvenience especially if this was not effectively communicated. We were very alarmed by your comments about the breakfast, since are in highly control all of our product with standard. And also regarding our cleanliness. Our team was very sad by your score and comment since we already move you to another Villa and we saw that you were happy to stay with us and also your children. If you felt there was anything missing during your stay you only had to request and we would have ensured that your wishes were taken care of. We only wish that you had approached us directly to let us know about how unhappy you were before you checked out so we would have had a chance to rectify some of your issues. We would prefer our guests to let us know if there is anything required during their stay so than we can fix any issues immediately. We are a small family run Villa and we work incredibly hard with our team to ensure good service. We also recognize that no matter how hard we try it is not possible to please everyone all the time. Once again please accept my apologies if The SAKAYE villa was not the right choice for you. And we really much hope that we can welcoming you again to our property near in the future. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa witha private pool (2 adults and 1 child) and was perfect for our needs. I would highly recommend this property for a family with older children as the private pool isnt fenced off and the second bedroom comes straight out to the pool. Breakfast was amazing along with the Spa and the staff were super friendly. Location was convinient and only a 15 minute drive to the beach there was also a couple of good restaurants on the same street along with a grocer and money exchange .
