The pool and view outweigh the inconvenience of the location which wasn't that bad. The staff was great. One word of caution would be the steps from bottom to top aren't for everyone. If I had some sort of physical limitation, I wouldn't stay here. We enjoyed our stay and would say the experience was the best week out of 5 weeks we were in Bali.

The rooms are spacious and clean. FlDaiky breakfast is nice and plenty of choices! The views are breathtaking and the infinity pool was beautiful! Will stay here again! The only negative is that there are too many steep steps to climb (close to 100) to get to the villas located at the top and the restaurant. After stayingb3 days we found out theres a back road that leads up to the villas as well and had we known we'd take that path any day! The massage spa was great and our daily in room massages were a blessing! The villa should also have a free pick up and drop service to the ferry services as they currently charge a fee but its reasonable!

Service was great. Nothing to mention. Bathrooms are really terrible. Lot of insects, lot of dirty corners, toilets not flushing and a terrible smell of chlorine. However the location is perfect, I would not recommend staying here.

Beautiful ocean views for a great deal. 4 min walk away from the beach, very close to great surf spots, and good dining options a short walk away along the gorgeous beach boardwalk. Also, delicious smoothie bowls available at the hotel restaurant! Definitely will recommend these villas to friends and family, and will be coming back here for our next Bali trip. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

This was the best location we could have picked! Amazing views, quiet, tucked away. My only issue was that they did not provide filtered drinking water and the water from the sink tasted so bad that even with our filters it was not drinkable and we were forced to keep buying water bottles- which we hate and never do

You can find better places!
When arrive the staff was very kind but once we get to the room everyone just disappear, we went to ask about the internet and the guy in the front desk was not kind at all. When you rent a bike is almost impossible to finde by your self cause there not signs on road. The breakfast was very disappointing, we ordered poche eggs and the taste was horrible, it look that they were prepared for a long time with the same water, they were also cold.

We loved the privacy of this location. Out of the main area but still walkable and all good restaurants offered a free pick up and drop off service. Lots of steps but worth it for the view. Staff were pleasant. Definitely a 3 star property and for $600 for 4 nights for a 2 bedroom villa, we were very happy. Great value for money. Would stay again.

This property is exactly what we expected. By no means is this a luxury resort, however the villas are clean and the staff is very nice. The top pool and restaurant have amazing views of the lagoon and we were fortunate that our villa had the same. It’s a short walk 5-10 minutes to most of the cliff side restaurants and other nicer hotels. We would stay here again for the price. Very cool

Stayed 2 nights with my girlfriend. Wanted to stay more. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful view overlooking the ocean, a few minutes uphill from a small beach and walking distance to several others. Bed was sooo comfortable and overall I really liked the design of the place. There's lots of steps, but the staff help with luggage, so it's not so bad.

The views here are amazing! But be prepared to climb several flights of stairs. The rooms were spacious, the pool area was nice, and the breakfast and food was good! Would recommend.

Beautiful views, outstanding food, spacious comfortable rooms It is literally built on the side of a steep mountainside if you don’t like stairs it’s not for you. But the restaurant and pool has breathtaking views. Scooter rentals give you easy all island access.

Great location, a five minute walk from main strip with trendy bars and restaurants and if you are after the surf breaks. It looked just like the photos. Top infinity pool was amazing to relax by! We would happily stay again.

The listing really should advise about the 98 steep and uneven stairs to the top level of suites. Was a bit shocking. As to the suite itself, I kept thinking this could be so grand, but, it was rather plain and basic. AC not powerful enough to cool both the room and bathroom. No where to sit inside but the bed. No where to set anything despite all the unused floor space. In room fridge was covered with mildew on the seal and oddly located at the head of the bed. Blech. Bathroom was not very clean and no hot water for me. Linens gray and threadbare towels. The view from the top row of suites, infinity pool and restaurant just below was outstanding. I enjoyed the many birds visiting from the tree top canopy. The pool toilet was dirty and system for getting your own pool towels confusing between which pile was clean and which was dirty. Service was uneven. Had to fetch your own pool drinks at the bar when it was manned. No one was serving the pool. Pool deck needs cleaning as I could see old drink spills and even some old dried dog poo adjacent to the deck. The beach and first 10 meters of water was absolutely covered with seaweed and littered with plastic trash. This was a 25 minute walk to Mushroom Bay, 5 minutes to Coconut Beach and 10 to Jungut Batu. Needed a scooter or open air taxi to take you anywhere else really.

Super friendly and hospitable staff. Excellent location away from road noises etc and close enough to walk to a variety of restaurants. Waking up with the birds chirping was great. A bit of stairs to climb to go to breakfast and the top pool, but well worth it though.

Clean comfortable rooms with an amazing view. Property is located on a cliff and we had booked a room on the highest level which was 93 steps up the hill. Some fittness required! There are two swimming pools, one at entrance level and the infinity pool is 3/4 up the hill next to the restaurant. Beautiful view towards Bali. Food and drinks were good at cheap prices. Staff lovely and very attentive. Wifi good in common areas but dropping out in our room. Location close to other restaurants and a small beach where you can swim, hire a surf/ standup paddle board. Small shop to buy water and snacks (also cold Bintang beer ) at beach. Spa treatments on site, well priced. Would stay here again!

The view is amazing, close to the beach and restaurants. There are stairs to hike to get to your room but it's worth it for incredible view. The hotel is not high end luxury but fine for a few nights.

Amazing Place!
We stayed at the Cliff villas for a total of 6 nights! We enjoyed our stay very much as it has great views from the rooms and an even better view from the top infinity pool! The villas are hidden away which makes the areas dry quiet and peaceful for a relaxing holiday! I recommend hiring a scooter and experiencing the whole 2 islands!

Lembongan is beautiful, get a local to show you the sights...I travelled with a 16 year old and 9 year old. The wifi was shocking, especially for teenagers on social networking, but I believe that is across the island and not just at the cliff villas. The cliff villas were as described but take word the stairs are steep and many....again something the kids were not impressed at, the paths are dangerous but again this is island wide. Bring lots of bug spray as mosquitoes are everywhere, especially as cliff villas are in the forest. I would definitely go back to Lembongan but would stay at dream beach resort, more people and interaction. If you are looking for a hideaway with a book from the real world cliff villas is perfect.

Nice stay.
The location of the property is great, every room has a wonderful view of the harbour area and Mt. Agung in the distance. The room we were originally assigned needed some attention, as the bathtub had a big rust stain, and all the taps in the bathroom had a big calcium build up so didn't run properly. This room also was located in front of the staff area/building site which made it very loud when people were chatting during the night and very early in the morning. We also had some problems with the water. After we asked to move rooms it was much better. The new room was great and there was no issues moving. The reception staff were not very helpful though. When we asked for information regarding transport etc. we were passed on to other staff members and dismissed rather rudely. The staff were also not at reception between 4.30pm and 8.00am which made it difficult to ask for help as we were diving all day and only arrived back to the hotel between these times. When we asked for transport for the following morning we were told it would be possible, and to just ask in the morning, however when we got up there was no one at reception so we had to walk 35 minutes to the dive shop and ended up missing a full day of diving. Overall we had a great stay, but would consider staying closer to the dive shops in future as we do not drive a bike and the hotel does not arrange transport.

Clifftop villas are just that on a clifftop. Lots and lots of steps but amazing view of the village and sea from the top which has the restaurant and pool. Great to be away from the busyness of tourists and diesel fumes from the boats at the beach . What i didn't like is the bathroom, i don't think staff have ever cleaned the wall tiles or mirror and towels were thin, small and well used. i wont be going back here.
