The view is amazing. The pool looks amazing. The pool had broken light in the water and exposed wires ! It wasn’t switched on but looked dangerous. There was no hot water available in the bathroom during our stay. The outdoor shower area was very dirty and the sliding door did not slide at all. The slide fittings were rusted and needed to be repaired. The staff were friendly. The mosquito net was full of holes and had dirty stains all over it. The umbrellas at the pool are completely broken and guest’s cannot get any shade during the day by the pool. The view is amazing. The place is unkept and run down.

This was an amazing place to stay and the staff, particularly the owners, are unbelievably helpful. It is definitely out of the way but if you want somewhere quiet, serene and with a gorgeous view, this is the place. The staff will help you with anything you need: scooters, taxis, tours, translations. A lot of restaurants on the island also do free pickup and drop-off for dinner (meaning they will pick you up in a taxi, take you to dinner, then drop you home when you are done). The huts are basic with a big comfy bed and an attached bathroom. Ours was down the hill and felt secluded enough for us to sit on the balcony some nights playing cards and having a drink. Overall, it was heavenly and we owe a huge debt to the staff for helping us so much. Thank you!

Stunning location to watch the amazing Balinese sunrise, no disappointment. Great outlook of Penida and Cenington.. Staff very attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Highly rate the huts loved the outdoor bathroom. Will stay again when I return.

Lovely place, isolated location
Sunrise Huts is a really lovely place. The pool actually does look like the photos, and the room was really nice. If you want to have a peaceful and relaxing break then it's perfect. However it's slightly in the middle of nowhere and a good 20-minute drive up a bumpy hill with winding roads to get anywhere else. There aren't any other restaurants or shops around. So if you don't want to just have some relaxation time and don't want to go anywhere, and are happy to eat all your meals there, it's fine. But if you want to go elsewhere you will need to hire a scooter or get a taxi.

Sunset view from the hotel is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Location is good in lembogan but also close to Nusa Ceningan as long as you take a scooter its fine. Food is nice and friendly staff. Overall great! I would highly recommend it!

The place was good and staff were equally good & helpful. The only point of concern is that the place was bit far from the Yellow Bridge. Still the view from hotel was excellent.

Wow.... what a view.
We picked Sunrise Huts due to the excellent reviews and the pictures. I’m so happy we decided to stay here. The Hut has everything we required for our stay. The staff are so very friendly, they made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The breakfast set us up for the day. This place is perfect for a few days chilling out around the lovely pool with the amazing views. The journey up to Sunrise Huts is well worth it. I highly recommend you stay here.

Great view from the bungalows and pool! Breakfast was ok, could use a little more lighting in the room. Motorbike rental for 80000 per day at hotel which you will need to get around the island. Wouldn’t be worried about the location as you need a motorbike anywhere you stay and the island is small.

Do not stay here. There are much better quality hotels next door on either side of this hotel. For starters there are no fans in the reception area and getting there on a stinking hot day was extremely unpleasant. The welcome drink is not upon arrival - takes 20 mins of stuffing around trying to find your booking before you get a drink. Upon entering the room it was extremely hot and took all day for room to cool. At 6pm we were considering changing hotels. Thankgod it cooled down and we were able to get some relief from the heat at 9pm. The pool is like a hot spa bath on a hot day. Absolutely no relief from the heat at all especially with a stinking hot room. Plus they don’t speak any English and getting around without a scooter was a nightmare. We had to organise a driver hours and hours in advance. So we were pretty much stuck there for the entire first day with a hot spa bath for a pool, no relief in the room and no where to go. Do not stay here at all. Plus bathroom was filth.

Det er med vemod vi skriver denne anmeldelse. Personalet var utroligt venlige og hjælpsomme, med alt ligefra leje af scooter, til booking at transport til Gili og med aktiviteter på øen. Udsigten er fantastisk, og hotellet ligger i stille omgivelser.. Men.. Værelset vi fik (værelse nr 6) var meget mørkt, og dårligt rengjort. Vasken på toilettet var kalket helt til, og det samme med bruseren. Vasken var ligeledes fyldt med brune pletter, som personalet mente man ikke kunne få af. Det kunne man. Det værste ved det hele. Der var en rotte der besøgte vores toilet hver nat!! Den spiste af sæben, og havde pillet ved vores toiletgrej, så vi var tvunget til at opbevare det indenfor. Det viste sig senere, at rotten også havde været på selve værelset, og spist af noget chokolade vi havde købt (se billede), og spist noget af min mave medicin som lå nederst i vores kufferter. Det skal siges, at vi er sikre på det var en rotte, da vi så den sidde på toilettet en af dagene, inden den løb væk. Personalet gjorde ikke nok ved rotten. De sprøjtede med noget insekt gift, som selvfølgelig ikke gjorde forskel. Det er også heri kritikken ligger - De skulle have gjort mere. Vi ville rigtig gerne have givet dem god kritik, men det er simpelthen for ulækkert at der kravler en rotte rundt i vores ting uden personalet gør noget ordenligt ved det. Lige til sidst. Der blev ikke brugt sæbe ved rengøring af fx toilettet, og vi blev begge syge mens vi boede der.

Lad ikke de flotte billeder narre - det er på ingen måde oplevelser værd. Min kæreste og jeg havde booket 6 dage men tjekkede ud efter 3,5 dag. Prisen er lav, men det lever på ingen måde op til forventningerne. Hytten: Ved ankomst var vores aircon ikke tændt, og der var 38 grader i hytten. Toilettet er udendørs, hvilket var fint nok, men vores toiletbræt sad ikke fast, og brusen gav os næsten intet vand. Dårlig WIFI Sidste nat, var vi nødt til at stoppe toiletpapir i revnen til toiletdør og slukke vores aircondition, fordi der lige ved siden af vores toilet mur, var blevet brændt noget af som lugtede af brændt gummi. Udsigten skuffer ikke, den lever fuldstændig op til forventningen. Poolen var også fin ren. Personalet: var en stor skuffelse - de kunne ikke engelsk og prøvede heller ikke på at gøre noget for at forstå os. Lobbyen/ receptionen lukkede allerede kl. 20.00, så der blev alt lyset slukket. Nu var vi der i marts måned som stadig er uden for højsæson, men medarbejderne boede på hotellet. Hvis man kom hjem om aftenen igennem porten, så lige til venstre var der et stort overdækket halvtag ligenede noget, hvor der var helt mørkt og man kunne fornemme skikkelser ligge derinde, det var ikke særlig betrykkende. Beliggenhed: Man SKAL have en scooter ellers kommer du ingen vegne. Det ligger på et bjerg, men en ringe vej med kæmpe huller i. Nusa Ceningan var klart vores favorit, men 4 dage er mere end rigeligt.

Insgesamt sind wir mit unseren kurzen Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Das Hotelteam ist top und ist auf all unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das selbstgemachte und frischen Essen im Hotel, welches zu einem erschwinglichen Preis zu erhalten ist. Das einzige Manko war das “Bad”, welches sich im Freien befand und man abends das ein oder andere Tier vorfand.

Charmantes Hotel mit wunderschöner Aussicht
Schöne Bungalows mit Balkon und Aussicht. Das Bad lässt hier und da einige Wünsche offen (Wasser nach dem Duschen läuft nicht ab weil der Abfluss falscjmh gesetzt ist ;) ) aber das macht die tolle Lage und hübsche Anlage mit Pool wieder wett. Der Weg zum Hotel ist etwas beschwerlich aber wer Aussicht will muss eben den Berg erstmal hoch :)

Fantastisk utsikt!
Fantastisk service, mysiga bungalows med fantastisk utsikt. Lite lång och krokig väg dit men det var det värt. Utomhustoalett på rummen som inte har den bästa duschen. Men den fantastiska poolen jämnar ut det. Man ser soluppgången från bungalowsen. Den finaste jag har sett!

Fräsch med superfin pool. Kan nästan bara tänka mig par åka hit då det var väldigt romantiskt och långt ifrån allt. Fanns dock billig skoter att hyra. Sådär engelska o receptionen och lite jobbigt att de aldrig hade växel när man köpte mat och dryck på kvällarna. Maten i sig var dock god och utsikten fin. Rena rum. Toppen.

Beautifull place for a short stay
I just stayed here one night during my two day exploration of the islands, and it was as beautiful as advertised. The cabins are clean, have good beds and AC and the bathroom was pary outside (as all these cabins have) but private and also very clean. Shower is only luke warm but thats also normal. A nice pool with stunnih view and very nice people, they server proper indonesian food but also have a selection op western if you want. I made a reservation including breakfast but found it is much cheaper to just pay it over there. I would recommend this place for sure and if you takr the scooter yourself ensure you have some maps downloaded on your phone :).

Wonderful views
We just stayed there for two nights and it was the loveliest place I've ever seen. Staff was great always willing to help. The hotel dog was the best and really made our stay there whole lot better! You can easily rent a motorbike from them and they will book a restaurant for you if you want to eat somewhere. Their cookings are also taste. Breakfest pancakes were lovely. Over all so excellent place that I didn't even want to leave.
