"The property was unbelievably beautiful and luxurious. The staff, especially the evening staff, was attentive and made the stay first class in every way. Was the best lodging experience I have ever had anywhere in the world."

"Petit déjeuner très correct mais chambre pour 1 trois étoiles à revoir !!! Pas de climatisation dans cette chambre !!!! Pour 1 ibis style très décevant !!! Je dors à l hôtel très souvent de par ma profession et franchement celui ci ma déçu"

"We usually stay there when we travel to Dordogne Everything is perfect. Welcome by the owners. Beauty of the building and decoration. The restaurant is of a high level!!I do recommend this hotel."

"Wonderful stay. William was accommodating and a great help"

"Excellent séjour chez Christine et Éric!"

"Lovely hotel close to abbey. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was superb - all locally sourced, beautifully cooked. Both nights I stayed there, it was fairly full with plenty of local residents- sue sign of a good place! Thank you for a good stay."

"Staff excellent. Restaurant superb"

"Beautiful setting, great location, Carol on reception was such a star, so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is first class and the staff are lovely, making our wedding anniversary extra special, highly recommend."

"Top quality room with an incredible balcony and view, good food in restaurant, staff very customer focused"

"We used Le Mas des Boires as a home base for a family wedding (service in Saint-Jean-de-Côle, reception at Chateau des Boires). The property was beautiful with a wonderful outdoor garden, refreshing pool (although smaller than the picture), and well-appointed stately rooms with private bathrooms (we had two large side-by-side rooms with balconies that overlooked the property. We loved the historic charm of the building - huge manger in the dining room; stone walls, exposed wood beams, etc....

"Evening meal and breakfast very good and excellent value Rooms were a good size"

"Staff great. Good breakfast. Nice setting in back of hotel"

"Great reception staff. Perfect English !!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were super helpful in booking places for us to eat and giving advice of parking/where to go in Périgueux. The hotel restaurant was an excellent gastronomic experience!"

"Hotel, très bien passé. Un peu vieillot. Personnel, serviable Pas de parking Petit déjeuner bof"

"Excellent hotel "

"Very helpful reception and beautiful restaurant"

"Overall it was a nice hotel for 2 stars, with perfectly clean rooms and friendly staff. The room was a little cramped, not much maneuvering room around the twin beds or in the ensuite, but it was quite cheap and served our purposes nicely. Possibly worth knowing is that the wifi si free but only allows the connection of one device at a time. Breakfast was continental-style, quite varied and 6 euros per person."

"The property and views were stunning. Spacious room and bathroom, breakfast was also good. My only gripe would be the room could do with a small fridge, as there is nowhere nearby to get a cold drink."

"Accueil excellent, propreté impeccable des lieux, calme absolu, cuisine savoureuse et généreuse. Extrême gentillesse de Chantal et de sa fille. Exceptionnel rapport qualité prix. Nous recommandons sans réserve. "
