Hotels with smoking rooms in Little India

We stayed here two nights (23+24 June 2014) while on a round trip in Malaysia. This hotel is pricey compared to the other hotels/B&B in the neighborhood, but its definitely worth the price. The hotel looks like the pictures and has very nice calm over it. Service is great, we didn't had a refrigerator in the room but they just put a mini refrigerator in the room since we had something to celebrate! The afternoon tea is also a thing to experience, we thought this was only a cup of tea, but we...

Nice property, great service. Staff were friendly and helpful

Good staff service, clean and looks new room

super convenient, located near major sites. Best of all was the service, we were a family of 5, arranged an airport transfer for us, upgraded us to a family suite as it was Mother's Day and my dad's birthday. Accommodated a late check in and late check out request, gave good dining suggestions. And of course, the beautiful heritage mansion. Highly recommended for those going to Penang!

The hotel is conveniently located in the Old town, easy accessible to Unesco Heritage site and street foods. 5 minutes walk to 1st Avenue and Komtar shopping centres. Room is clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and approachable. There are on site Restaurant and Convenient store for your convenience during raining days. Facilities wise, there are no phone and minibar in the room. If the hotel could improve on this, it would be perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my...

Short 2N stay but it was a wonderful experience at Kim Haus! Definately will come back again if visiting Penang.

This is the hotel that I will never miss to reserve whenever I'm in Penang (even though it was only a night of stay in this trip), I've also introduced my friend to this hotel in the past which he used it for his proposal as I feel this is one of best hotel I've stayed in all my travelling to different countries. I've got nothing but positive comments for departments in this hotel, although the price is on the higher side for us, we feel it is worth it as we want our parents to stay in a...

.

Room was quite large, newly furnished, and smelled clean and fresh. The breakfast was fairly sizable, but basically the same thing every day, the swimming pool was great, very clean amenities.

Services and staff are top 1. Attentive and speedy respond. Excellent place to stay for Holliday.

The amazimg sea view and spacious rooms are so impressive. The staff are very helpful and nice. Highly recommend to family travel.

Very large rooms at reasonable prices. Business suite is very conducive even for meetings if need be. Most amenities are provided in the room and others may be available upon request. Only caveat is that there are many switches in the room including those that power the air conditioner and the water heater and it is not easy to figure out what is for what.

Overall ambience, cleanliness and polite and warm staff hotel is grand

We stayed for two nights at Light Hotel in December 2016. What stood for my family was the quality of service of the hotel staff who greeted and serviced us from the time we stepped in till we left three days later. The F&B staff were especially fantastic and were very accommodating to our requests for vegetarian food due religious reasons.
