"We received the check-in instruction the day before, everything went smoothly. Parking right beside of the apartment gate, very useful to have the apartment on the ground floor for luggage. Apartment looked new, kitchen has no oven or microwave or dishwasher or washing machine, but well equipped to cook small meals. It is like 2km from the town center or less than 10min drive. Neighbourhood feel safe. "

"Very much disappointed., I was shocked when I found that our room was alloted in the basement of the hotel. The room was dark as the amount of daylight enters through two small windows at ceiling height is very less. It is worth mentioning here that we had to cancel earlier accommodation and book this particular hotel hurriedly because to meet the requirements of Slovenian Consular for submission of non refundable hotel booking document for Visa approval. "Staff were very friendly and helpful. We received a free room upgrade which was very nice. The food was Ok but not outstanding. There was not a huge choice and we both ordered lasagna but they only had one left. Unfortunately the free welcome drink was called lemonade but was really just lemon juice and water which was very acidic and upset my stomach."

"This is a wonderful hotel. Although situated in the old city it is a brand new property with all the comforts expected from a luxury hotel. The breakfast was wonderful--you order off the menu with several delicious choices included in the price. The restaurant is also top notch, but if you want something else there are numerous restaurants just a few meters away. The hotel was quiet except for the construction next door with occasional jackhammers. We enjoyed just walking around the car free area, or if so inclined it is a short walk to the castle. I thought the price was very low for what we got. Be aware that the hotel is in the car free zone so you have to walk about 3 blocks to get there from the taxi stand. We walked in from the bus stop which took about 20 minutes."
