Ardlui Retreat

Ardlui Retreat

10/10 Excellent
"The ardlui retreat was exactly perfect for what I expected. The staff was helpful and prepared for me before I arrived. Check in was swift and you get a tour around your chalet/house and amenities. The rooms were clean and comfortable… the TVs are not smart but there are channels you can watch from, bring a fire stick to watch Netflix or whatever you may like. Everything was great I highly recommend for a relaxing stay. You can access the loch, gym and bbq hut. There are cruises close by. I only recommend for the chairs to be covered when it rains."

Claymore Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Loved our stay here. We brought the dog along too. Room was spotless and the rest of the hotel. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. They went above and beyond with things such as advising about the local area, providing fresh food at the breakfast buffet, an iron and board when needed and even remembering our dogs name! The other residents were also delightful. The place was packed at breakfast in the morning and staffing levels easily covered the needs of all the residents. Breakfast was great thank you! We felt so welcome. We will be back."

Macdonald Forest Hills Resort

Macdonald Forest Hills Resort

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in one of the apartments, rather than the hotel, and it was absolutely perfect. Very spacious, clean and so well-equipped, particularly for someone like me who enjoys cooking for a family. The view from the living room/balcony was totally stunning. The playground could do with a bit of maintenance and there was a net missing from one of the tennis courts, which was a shame, as the other court was taken when we wanted to play. The bar and bistro menu was pricey. Swimming pool and leisure facilities were awesome and we spent so much time in the pool as the weather was very disappointing but what can you expect in Scotland! If you do get some sun wet heartily recommend a day trip to Luss and kayaking on Loch Lomond."
