"Beautifully rennovated hotel with preserved character. Location is perfectly suited to explore all areas of old town Salzburg. We were pleasantly surprised to meet Mr.Imlauer himself,who was extremely hospitable and humble. Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for couple of days to explore Salzburg."

"Still the best property on other side of Salzach (old town) 10 mins walk to old town. Across from Maribel garden, Salzburg Congress, 15 mins to SZG main. Lots of new restaurants within 1 km/.5 mile radius. More importantly, it’s quiet in the night "

"Our four-night stay at this hotel was wonderful. We had a large, comfortable, and quiet room, which suited our needs perfectly. We were able to walk to all places we sought to explore in Salzburg, and there were plenty of satisfying restaurants nearby. The staff was consistently pleasant and helpful, and the morning breakfast had a great deal of variety, with plenty of flavorful options. We wanted to highlight Sima, the impressively energetic, attentive, and always positive hostess for the breakfast. She provided us with an upbeat mood at the start of each of our (unfortunately) rainy days in Salzburg. We would be thrilled to stay here again if and when we return to this lovely city."
