Newly renovated, nicely furnished and well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, crisp white sheets, I have a small room with some outside noise room 216, but it was comfortable and ideal for a one night stay. Would prefer a larger room for any longer stay. Staff were excellent, very helpful and polite, breakfast was good and timely, hot buffet needs to serve selection of eggs rather than standard scrambled which never hits the spot! Wish the team at the hotel success London needs more new establishments. Also great location close to Lancaster Gate tube.

The room was clean and new ish. I can not imagine why a hotel room doesn’t provide towels. This is a critical management issue in terms of following the cleaning protocols. The supervisor apologised by providing free toothbrush and asked for a good review. This is not acceptable. My expectations of a Marriot hotel should acknowledgment its mistake and show a good attitude to customers rather than asking for something that clearly they haven’t earned. The compensated breakfast was very basic with few choices and it took the staff 20 mins to serve a coffee which made me late for the business meeting.

Beautiful newly refurbished hotel in a good location facing Hyde park, 10 minutes walk from Paddington Station. The rooms are quite spacious and it really is lovely, the only downside for me and my husband was no dressing gowns in the room, empty fridge and no room service and the bar shuts at 11pm even for residents ! Crazy, I've never experienced this in a London hotel before and the fact that you can't even order a drink to your room even crazier ! Also our coffee machine didn't work and we couldn't order a coffee to our room in the morning, seriously this needs to change, I mean n o room service in a hotel and it's a Marriott owned property ! I discussed all the. above points on check-out but she didn't seem to care
