Very good location for seeing iconic London sites. Not sure the hotel deserves a 5 star rating given the cost. I expected a bit more. It was nice and not a bad choice for first time London visitors .

We had an amazing stay. Stopped her overnight on the way to another destination after a long flight. The room was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We would have stayed longer if we had known what a great experience this would be.

Amazing hotel! Located in a fabulous part of London where you can walk anywhere. Wonderful staff and rooms and great food too! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be coming back soon!

What an absolutely wonderful experience staying at the Great Scotland Yard hotel. The hotel is beautiful, super clean, absolutely delightful with all the art, personal decoration touches and museum worthy pieces. If I’m back in London, this is where I want to stay.

The Great Scotland Yard hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel has a ton of character and charm. The rooms are well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Turn down service was a nice treat. We shall be back for sure.

Excellent room, go elsewhere for breakfast.

A one night stay for a theatre trip. Excellent location just off Whitehall and close to St James Park. The room was to a very high standard and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast overpriced and nothing special.

Loved this hotel, the location, the speakeasy bar, the delicious breakfast. 5 stars for me despite the tiny room and lack of a full length mirror and a plug in the bathroom for a hairdryer. I had to dry my hair in a compact mirror :(

My husband and I stayed here for 2 days last week, and would absolutely stay at this hotel again. The hospitality of the staff was incredible, which is notable, because we stayed in various hotels while we were in the country, visiting from Canada, and only one other hotel had the level of service and helpfulness that this hotel offered. Staff were friendly, helpful with luggage, and offered many suggestions on reservations and places to enjoy for food and drink. Would stay again.

Great location, clean hotel and extremely attentive staff. Any request we had was addressed immediately. Great location. We traveled with a baby and every time we exited/entered the hotel there was a staff member offering the help with the stroller. Overall was a wonderful stay. Would definitely come back!

It’s a nice place. Staff is kind. But it is overpriced. Best thing about the hotel is its cleanliness and its central location which is close (walking distance) to many tourist locations in central London.

Hands down, a MUST stay!

The history of this building alone makes it worth the stay, but then you add the incredible staff, the cleanliness, the cozy beds and linens, the central location and delicious food and drinks, and they have knocked it out of the park! I will absolutely stay here again. Ten out of ten! Location, location, location - I walked everywhere! You will be thrilled you booked at the Great Scotland Yard Hotel!
excellent location! walking distance to so many things! fun fact: two scenes from harry potter were filmed on this street!
evening tea with bottomless champagne! delicious from start to finish, and absolutely worth the price!
so many incredible pieces in this hotel! very unique, very hip, lots of hidden gems! keep your eyes open for all the surprises!

Great location for theatre trips

We had a 1 night stay as we were going to the theatre. Everything was good. Our one disappointment was the shower which we never managed to get hot!!!
