There is no air conditioning in the rooms, our windows did not open much, the room faced a courtyard, and only a table top fan is provided. Even in very moderate weather, our room remained uncomfortably warm and stuffy. The beds were also very uncomfortable and the rollaway mattress was collapsing in on inself. The location was convenient.

Just as good as when I stayed there several times some years ago for work purposes, not leisure. TV timer was an hour fast, disturbing at first. The bar lacked a choice of malt whiskies so lost a sale. Good that at breakfast one was taken to an empty table rather than having to look for one oneself. Vegetarian eating catered for. Good location near a tube station but my room was on a noisy main road.

There was a noticeable 4cm stain on the pillow that looked like blood. The next day, I intentionally placed it at the foot of the bed, hoping the cleaning staff would see it and replace it. However, I found that it was not replaced and was put back on the bed. The noise level was very high. Every morning, the cleaning staff chatted loudly and moved furniture noisily while cleaning the neighboring rooms, disturbing the guests. The soundproofing was poor; you could hear doors closing and conversations from next door very clearly, which affected sleep.

Very convenient for the Euston, British Museum, Covent Garden area. I had a pleasant stay here for a single night. Despite the hotel being full, it was always possible to get staff to attend to one, whether at Reception, the Concierge, or at breakfast. If it’s hot, ask the hotel to unlock the cable that keeps one from opening the window wide. And with a dam, once should sleep cool. Would I stay here again? Definitely, if I am needing to stay in the area and the rates were as good as I got.

I’ve not stayed at a hotel where the staff are as rude as they were here. Awful check in experience with multiple other customers at the desk complaining about various things, staff handled it all really poorly and even started to blame customers for their issues. I wound avoid this one at all costs!

Had an average stay at this property. Location is good and convenient and the rooms are clean. However, having no air conditioning in the rooms makes it extremely humid and uncomfortable regardless of the weather conditions outside. No air flow even when you open the windows. Size of the room is extremely small and inconvenient.

Lovely hotel, clean and sleek. Staff are friendly and welcoming. 20 minute walk to Covent Garden. Next to Russell Square. Only let down, no air con on rooms so we did get quite warm even with the fan on.

Nice location near the Underground. Clean & bright. The only reason I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 was because it was a very tight fit for a triple, and the cot they put in for the 3rd bed was very poor quality.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice. Our bedroom, although small was very comfortable, with a good bathroom. Only complaint I have was no air conditioning which made our room uncomfortably warm. A fan is provided which we made use of and did help us out. This hotel is very close to Russell sq tube station….. on exiting the station turn left and left again and you can see the hotel. Very convenient for travelling purposes. Thank you for a lovely stay. 😄

The staff were very polite and helpful, friendly. The hotel itself was in perfect location for us for gosh. It was one of the best prices to compared to other hotels in area but we were extremely surprised with how lovely the hotel was from the entrance to the rooms! Amazing quality beds, bedding and pillows.. extremely clean and comfortable and even down to the toiletries extremely good quality and lovely touch. We wish we could have stayed longer - most relaxing and enjoyable stay we have experienced in a hotel for a long time and for a very reasonable price! Can’t wait to book a trip to come back. 👍
