My bedside light was not working, flushing the toilet was not good, the shower had a problem the wash water stayed in, the towels very old and worn out, the TV set didn’t work, the changed it when I reported it though. The staff were polite but not experienced with international guests and their bank cards. We rushed to do whatever we needed to do before it went dark, because the lights were ever sooo dim. "We couldn’t believe the size of this room for what we paid. The building itself was a bit dated but the room was clean and the bathroom and kitchenette were modern. It was a great homebase to explore along the Moselle. The check-in process was basically handled by another hotel and we had to find our own parking down the road but nothing was too big of a hassle. We really enjoyed our stay."

"I wish I'd been able to stay longer at the Hotel Morjan: it was such a great choice. I paid a little extra for a 'river view' room, and I was delighted I did. Sitting, watching the river, especially as the light faded and the fortress lit up in the evening was so lovely. Even in the mornings when there was misty fog the view was stunning. The location was perfect for my needs, with the things I wanted to see in easy walking distance from the hotel. Having a row of restaurants right beside the hotel made dinner choices easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and well maintained. I'd happily recommend staying there to my family and friends. It was a lovely place to stay."

"Hotel was ok, but could be better. Mattress was very thin and umcomfortable. Duvet was oddly smaller than the size of the bed which made it difficult to use. It was twin sized while the mattress was queen sized. Maybe it’s a German thing. The air conditioning had an administrative lock on it so the room never got below 24 degrees even though I had the system set to 19. There were several large spider webs in my room and a big clump of hair on the bathroom floor. Not very clean. Staff was nice though."

"We very much enjoyed our stay. Wonderful property located in a lovely small village just outside Koblenz. Spa and gym were very nice. Only wish the sauna opened at 7am along with the pool. The hotel restaurant is very nice but if you prefer a more traditional German dining experience consider walking into the village and visiting the restaurant there."
