"Great staff, friendly and attentive. Amazing food, real ale, extensive wine list. Reminiscent of how hotels used to be before corporate takeovers"

"There is a lot that is exceptionally good about the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful , the food and drinks of high standard and the spa area very good. The only slight downsides were poor WiFi although this seems to affect the whole village when we visited. We’d love to come back."

"Clean and comfortable historic inn with fabulous staff and tasty food. I will definitely stay again when I’m in the area. Thank you!"

"We had a really pleasant stay ahead of an early flight the following morning. Comfy bed, great staff and nice biscuits."

"We were welcomed by the staff and shown to our room, which was spacious, clean, warm and quiet. The bed was large and comfortable with good quality pillows. The shower room was large, clean and modern. It was so reasonably priced, we expected a lot less!"

"Beautiful grounds and castle room. Don’t recommend staying next to the elevator though as it was quite loud"

"Close to the Uni; parking, clean rooms, breakfast included; good price; check-in convenience"

"Helpful staff and impressive view."

"Friendly staff, good location. Very quiet hotel. We didn't hear anything from inside our room even with a full hotel. Breakfast was good and the location is very handy to both train stations and the city center"

"Fabulous stay for 2 nights, great staff, great food, breakfast and dinner, very comfortable bed."

"Super cute hotel with nice newer rooms. Great location and easy to get to and great parking. Super friendly and helpful staff."

"Rustic setting but not remote, excellent food, lovely staff,"
