"Nice hotel but on the pricier side. From the map it appeared that I could walk to downtown but that's impossible - not the end of the world. No microwave in the room which was inconvenient as I wanted to eat my leftovers for breakfast. Only 1 regular coffee pod in the room. Grounds and hotel were well kept. Pool was closed for the season so didn't get to enjoy the outdoors as much as I would have liked even though it was in the 80s. Would consider staying again but would compare against downtown hotels also."

"The pictures are a bit misleading. The campers along the river are pretty much side by side. Not a lot of privacy and space. You'd think when upgrading to a Premium Riverfront Camper that you'd be on the water but there is a chance you could be behind the row of campers that are on the water, which was a bit disappointing. Parking isn't big enough for everyone so it's a bit of a hassle finding a spot. Trekking down a loose gravel road all the way to your camper with a pull cart for your luggage isn't ideal. A gold cart assisted service being offered would help. I'd like to try the Hilltop campers as they seem more spread out. Overall, it is clean, family friendly and a cool idea vs. your standard hotel."

"The cottages are really cute. It's more "in town" than I imagined, but it's set far back enough from the road that you feel like you're in a little campground. I loved our little cottage. The king-size bed was super comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. The woman who checked us in was so sweet. We were talking about the hydrangeas near the office, and she told me how to dry them and preserve them with hair spray. The next day, we came back from our adventures and there was a vase with a hydrangea flower at our doorstep. I thought that was so kind. Convenient location. I slept in, but my husband enjoyed the nearby Centreville Luncheonette for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again."
