"The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely and helpful staff. The only thing I missed was a shelf in the bathroom to place toiletries etc. They have a very civilised system for residents to have easy access to free tea, coffee, cold drinks and pastries etc during their stay, located just by Reception. A really nice place to stay, only a short walk from all of Lucca's amenities. Very close to the Elisa portal within the old walls. "

"The hotel is located well in the old city. I had lunch and breakfast outside on the sidewalk near the carousel. The food was excellent and the service superb. The room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the location. My room was in the interior and I only saw a staircase. I should have asked for a different room. "This was our second stay at this hotel and like the first time, it did not disappoint. It is an older hotel but it is kept up pretty well. Breakfast was terrific, as was the staff.
