"The Flat is located in the attic of an old palazzo. It was spacious and clean, but very warm. The main bedroom air con unit is very noisy, there were ants in the kitchen and the bathroom really needs a new shower curtain. But none of that is as bad as us having to endure a very stressful evening caused by a huge party in the street below. The whole building vibrated, windows rattled as the volume increased steadily for 3 hours to finish just after midnight. We had a train to catch in the...

Best Western Plus Tigullio Royal Hotel

"The location was excellent and very conveniently located in town. It was directly across from the beach (and the hotel was great at providing beach towels), and my room had partial sea views with a small balcony, which made it all the more magical. Within minutes of walking, youโll also find plenty of restaurants and shops (though be mindful of riposa/rest hours, where almost everywhere is closed), and youโre also a five minute walk to the Rapallo train station, which is also super convenient. For a reasonable cost, you can have buffet breakfast (worth the variety in my opinion). All the staff I dealt with, from reception to restaurant servers to cleaners, were all super friendly as well. The room was clean, though I wish the pillows were a bit softer, but otherwise, no real complaints. I would love to come back to Rapallo and stay here again!"

"Check in was a little slow. Hotel has a lot of steps. Even in room and in hall ways. Good hotel but if you have a lot of luggage the stairs are a bit annoying."

"The room was clean and comfortable, and staying in a historic building gave the hotel some character. However, parking was quite inconvenient. It cost โฌ35 per day, and the parking facility was located several hundred metres away from the hotel, which made arriving with luggage more difficult than expected. Overall, the room itself was fine, but the parking situation could definitely be improved."

"The hotel is in a great location. However, it needs some updating. The biggest thing is the elevator needs to be updated!!!! My sister and I got stuck inside which was a traumatic situation. It stopped and the doors opened half way then the doors got stuck and it would not move once the doors closed. The staff acted like this happens all the time. It was extremely hot and no air and a frightening experience. Other guests were complaining about the elevator to deaf ears. It might be a good idea to update the breakfast with a bit more options. The rest of the stay was good."

"Beautiful property and location. Everyone on the staff was pleasant and welcoming. Vistamare breakfast and dinner were excellent. Pool and beach area are well kept and inviting. The concierge and reception staff were all first class and provided exemplary service. I would highly recommend this luxurious property if you are staying in or near Santa Margarita Ligure."
