"Check in was a breeze. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The food was pretty good. My family and I enjoyed the variety. We like that the buffet would switch up the dishes every day. We enjoyed the other restaurant as well. We attempted to try Bamboo twice. First time was told that we would have to wait and wouldn't know how long the wait would be. They had a few empty tables and got informed that it was for reservations. Inquired about that since we did ask the front desk about it and was informed "no reservations are needed". Then is was close that Thursday night during our stay so sadly we didn't get to try it. The two restaurants only offered spaghetti and meatballs on the kids menu, that was kind of a bummer. We went to the presentation for Club Viva the guy pitching it was nice but the second man.. the minute we declined the offer the attitude completely switch and he became rude. I know it's hot but I wish there was a way they could keep the pool cooler. The water was super hot. Over it we still made the most of it and enjoyed our time."

"Xcaret was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We came to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday, and overall, it was such a memorable experience. The resort is HUGE with so much to see and do, and honestly, we weren’t able to experience everything. But what we did experience was breathtaking. The food was great, the amenities were amazing, and there is truly something for everyone. There were a few things that unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth. Since this trip was specifically for my son’s 10th birthday, I asked about a birthday cake and/or decorations. I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant and was even willing to pay if it wasn’t complimentary. I mentioned that we were celebrating his birthday when we checked in, but nothing was offered or explained. On his actual birthday, I called to ask again about a cake, and still nothing really came of it. The following day, I called again and asked if we could get a cake, and we were told to just order a dessert through room service. We were given two empty piñatas, which was basically the only birthday acknowledgment we received. Thankfully, I packed a few little decorations for the room because I wanted him to feel special regardless. And honestly, I’m glad I did! Another issue was the lack of instructions. After we declined an upgrade, we weren’t given any information about how restaurant reservations worked or how to navigate the resort. It was basically like, “Okay, move along.” The resort is SO huge that we didn’t even"

"We just spent 7 unforgettable days at the Riu Tequila, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. As first-timers to an all-inclusive resort, we were a bit hesitant and didn’t want to take any chances on a place we might not enjoy. But honestly, it turned out to be one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—their warmth and attentiveness truly set the tone for the week. The property itself is gorgeous, impeccably maintained, and surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife that make it feel like a true tropical oasis. We had plenty of choices when it came to meals, with a fantastic variety of food available throughout our stay. If there is one minor area for improvement, it would be the desserts; while there were plenty of options to choose from, elevating the quality of the sweet treats would make the dining experience a 10 out of 10 across the board. Otherwise, we were never short of things to do. The daily activities and evening entertainment were an absolute blast, keeping us smiling, laughing, and thoroughly entertained the entire trip. Great staff, great entertainment, and a property that exceeds expectations. We came home relaxed, happy, and already dreaming of our next trip back!"

"Wow! Easily the best resort we have stayed at. I am not Vegan but the best part of this trip was definitely the food. The all-inclusive is the best deal around by far. There are plenty of non-vegan options but honestly I mostly ate the vegan versions. Everything was top-shelf. Charlies Vegan Tacos were a highlight. And we actually lost some weight while we were there since its so healthy. The service was incredible. Everywhere we went we were greeted with smiles and hellos. We got to know by name many of the staff. The Pools are about the best I have seen and the beach (when there is not seaweed) is incredible. And they keep it cleaner than any other beach around. Every time we ventured out to try something different we came back to the hotel because it was just better. The free classes like Yoga were amazing as well. I feel this is a secret that will soon be out. But thank you to all the staff who were part of this experience."
