They offer more then hospitality
More than friendly personal, makes you feel like home. All our needs were taking care of even the ones that are not related to them. Location wise is the best as you can walk to Jonker Street and many other historical places in few minutes. Thank you Heeren Palm Suites for your warmth welcome.

The hotel was a nice building in a good location. We received a good welcome by reception staff and there were no problems. Breakfast was very average with a limited choice and staff who weren’t that interested, although by no means unpleasant. There was no bar or restaurant. The room was absolutely fine. The hotel overall just seemed a bit bare. But it really wasn’t bad. Don’t be put off if you get a good deal.

Lovely stay
A lovely hotel in an old Shophouse. The location is stellar. The staff are friendly and caring. The layout of our room was slightly odd, you can see in the bathroom (just odd not bad). Breakfast was average.

This hotel is a must for Jonker Walk visitors !
The hotel is beautifully decorated with baba period furniture. Large bedrooms with newly appointed spacoius bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent and ranged from croissants to chicken redang. Staff service and friendlines could not be faulted. This super clean hotel is a must for anyone thinking of staying close to Jonker Walk its value for money is just amazing.

The hotel and staff were excellent. Unfortunately we had a problem with the rickshaws cycling past in the middle of the night playing music very loudly. This went on into the early hours of the morning. When we complained we were moved to a quiet room across the road in the sister hotel. Our second night (Sunday) was more restrained.

Good Place to Stay
Our arrival was mid-day so we knew it was perhaps too early to check-in. After directing us to the parking lot and registering we were advised we could check into the room after 30 minutes. We decided we would go our and have some lunch rather than wait. The room was clean and well appointed. The only concern we had after our first night was the street noise. This is a problem that the hotel cannot control. So the next morning we asked to change rooms. The staff were very accommodating. Our next room was much quieter. Breakfast was good. Not a great selection but well prepared. Location is great...very short walk to Jonkers' Walk and many other attractions. There are numerous restaurant options all within the area.Overall a good location to explore the city in our opinion.

Noisy noisy noisy noisy noisy. Did I say noisy?
This is the noisiest room I've ever stayed in. It feels like you are (trying to) sleep in the middle of the street. You can hear every single noise on the street, and it's a really noisy street way past midnight (even after 2am): every minute or so there is a vehicle with loud music or loud engine passing. The owners should NOT make the rooms in front of the house available for guest stay until they have installed more effective sound proofing. The rest of the hotel looks good (except for some issues with mosquitoes), but the noise issue makes this hotel impossible to recommend. I will NOT stay here again.

Beautiful heritage building
Myself and daughter stayed for 3nights here,we were above the dining area which is very noisy,the window in our room was above the dining area,the window in our room had no curtains so if your looking forward to sleeping in this definitely isn't the hotel for you,also the light all night outside is left on so it lights up the room,the bed was very comfortable,and the shower space big!when I checked in I was told I wouldn't be getting a room key as the system was down,but whenever I want to get back into my room I could go to reception and ask them to let me in,this annoyed me very much as it meant we couldn't just stroll around the hotel without having to go to reception everytime we wanted to be let in!I was never given any key the while we were there,nor offered to be compensated for the inconvenience,the price we pay for the room isn't cheap so I found this very very bad service,I think the price of the room your really paying for the building not for any quirks because the hotel didn't have any,if your a elderly person I would not recommend this hotel as there's only a steep staircase to go up,and all the rooms are on the top floor,also it's very very noisy!housekeeping do a fantastic job thou!

The room is large and clean. However, parking is limited to 4 car park spaces within the hotel compound although there are street parking available. Famous tourist sites are nearby the hotel.

Quaint Stay in Melaka Heeren St
The suites were beautifully refurbished old local residences in the old part of Malacca. The building has light and airy and the size and nature of it made for an enjoyably different experience to staying at a conventional 4 or 5 star hotel. There were a few downsides - the street noise was a problem at times (courtesy the infamour Malacca rickshaws with their blaring music) and the room pass was inconvenient in that it was not possible to go out and leave the services operating (esp the AC). Also as you are in a heritage building, expect to use stairs (a concern for the less fit or disabled). However these were relatively minor in nature given the overall experience and extremely obliging staff.

We stayed for a night on Sunday and we were the only guests in the hotel at that time. The whole hotel was very quiet. As our room 202 is facing the road, the only noise was coming from the trishaws with loud music passing by at night. Wifi in our room was bad. Overall stay was still ok. We feel that it will give more friendly feel if they can have lady receptionist.

Lovely historic building. Room, the junior suite was lovely. I only have two minor issues, no plug near a mirror so I could style my hair and no conditioner provided. OH no problem with this as has hardly any hair! Some of the fixings in the bathroom were a bit shaky and coming loose as well.

Nice spacious room but no block out curtains so sun light shines in early in the morning. Also piped in music is too loud. Wooden floors so when people walk around it gets noisy. U won't be able to sleep in when staying here. Room was very spacious though and location great!

This is a beautiful place to stay in Melaka. Rating in my opinion ***** The hotel is a small place in a beautiful building more than 100 years (?) old. Nice renovated two years ago. I had a room which was huge, but really huge. Staff was extraordinary friendly. Will definitely come back

Great services provided!
The service is very good especially during breakfast time. Dining area is great as it is near to the play area where you can have breakfast in peace while your kids are busy playing. The waiters/chefs (I think one of them is named Rossi) are really friendly and made us feel right at home. Would definitely come back here next time! :)

The Hotel Management Sucks
Didn't get to stay in Heren Palms as they overlooked my booking and did not place the reservation so we ended up without staying inside the Jonker area which we intended. The Hereen Palms Suite Management Sucks!

Good location and large rooms
Good stay overall, staff were polite and the rooms were sizable. The aircon takes a while to come up to speed on a hot afternoon after being switched off. Breakfast was fine although there were few options. The common areas were nice and clean but lacked a cosy feel.

Lovely hotel in a well reserved heritage building!
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. This hotel is 2 years old, very well maintained so far, hopefully they continue to maintain it. Room and bathroom are very spacious, bed is very comfortable too. The only drawback was that the breakfast was very simple, limited choice. But it wasn't an issue for us because there are plenty of restaurant/ coffee shops nearby. Location is very good as well, 5 minutes walk to Jonker Walk. Love my stay and I will recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Melaka and I definitely will be back here.

Nice Boutique Hotel Experience
Boutique hotel that was once a luxurious Baba Nyonya home. Hotel is well restored and comfortably renovated. Arrived at the hotel and didn't need to drive anywhere to have a great weekend as there was plenty to explore and enjoy nearby e.g. Jonker Walk, A'Famosa etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is a hotel to experience and explore history and culture. Please look elsewhere if you are looking for Spas, Gyms or Swimming pools.
