"We had a king room, which was was very nice because it included a large sitting area with an L-shaped sofa. One of my pet peeves is lack of seating in hotel rooms. It was very clean with a refrigerator and coffee maker. I wish there was an option for task lighting in the sitting area that would be less bright if one of us slept a bit later. We were there midweek to see a band playing in Alexandria. The hotel bar closed at 9pm so we were unable to stop in for a nightcap when we arrived back at the hotel at 10:30pm. If you are on a budget, please note that parking is not included and will cost $25 per night at the nearby garage. Breakfast is $11 PP for a typical serve yourself buffet that is included at many hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"As a disabled American Vereran, I was appalled by the disrespect and neglect of the hotel management. Most of the staff was great including the valet, bellman, and room sevice, but I am complaining to Marriott Bonvoy for the rude and unhelpful nature of management. The hotel restaurant Old Hickory was awful. It took an hour to get my drink order and I never got a menu to order food! Never again! "

"Friendly staff. The pet fee per day was a lot more than I have paid at Marriott locations. The room , I’m assuming was on a pet friendly floor, had carpet, and had a terrible odor. The fact they charge a pet cleaning fee per stay, did not sit right with me knowing the smell of my room upon entering. I have a small dog that is potty trained and it felt as if we entered a room where a previous dog was not, but the floor / room was not cleaned properly. "

"We didn’t eat here because we didn’t know they stopped serving at 9am. The sign in the elevator said all day but that wasn’t true. The guy that checked us in barely spoke and didn’t greet us but the young lady that checked us out was super helpful and very nice."

"Hotel was outdated and in need of many repairs and a good cleaning. Bed linens and towels were clean but the lampshades, walls, etc were dirty and the outlet was half broken on the wall. Only given one small bar of soap for both hands and shower. Had to ask for additional. Mini fridge door wouldn’t close until we took the drink holder out of it. Hallways constantly smelled of cigarette smoke. Would probably not stay again. "

"You get charge a destination fee of $25 each day you stay with anybody telling you that. The staff in restaurant and bar are so rude and bad service because they already adding at 30%gratuity to each tap not matter what. So staff does not care to a good job because they already charging you the tip on tip of the billed. "
