"The supposed renovations no bueno. There was something wrong with the first 2 rooms. We accepted the 3rd because of no smell. The elevators inspection needs to be updated."

"This hotel is nice but pricey for the size of its rooms. You can stay elsewhere that is just as nice for a quarter of the price. Don't get me wrong, this hotel is nice, and the location is great, but the prices are crazy high. TIP: Reserve your room so you can cancel and re-book. I reserved at $750, and re-booked two weeks later, it was $499. "

"The staff all are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. (One thing to note: the windows have plantation shutters, which does let in a bit of light at night even when closed. We always travel with our own travel black out curtains in cases like this.) "

"Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Very convenient location with lots of food options and very short walk to UC theater. I stay here every time I go to a concert at the UC theater and it’s always great, I will continue staying here every time. Plenty of parking options around hotel, if you don’t want to use valet."

"We had 3 people in the room. The room was beautiful with the bedroom and living area plus a kitchenette. The bathroom was huge! Too bad the shower doors weren't frosted glass so more than one person could be in the bathroom. Someone in the room next to us was smoking on the patio so we had to close the balcony doors . We did not eat in any of the resturants. And did not get to use the pool since it rained so much."
