"Went here for my honeymoon will do all over again the staff and the service was immaculate. As soon as we arrive, we are given a welcome drink. And we’re guided to our room. The restaurant is open pretty late and is excellent. We love all the food that we ate. Very quiet part of the island which is a nice way to start off our honeymoon."

"This was the best hotel we have ever stayed at.,, Staff were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to help in any way, great knowledge of traditional culture and will share information . Communication was on point, never having to wait for a reply, via what's app. Facilities, room and gardens was even better than the photos extremely spotless. Food was delicious and always on time when we used room service, but also enjoyable to eat at the restaurant with very friendly staff. Small gestures like a welcome card, cake tray, stocked mini bar, robes, slippers, extra pool towels and even a carry bag for your stay were very thoughtful.Can honestly no faulting this place at all. "This is a fantastic experience, especially if visiting with children. We had a one-night stay in the Mara Safari Hotel, which was a stopover before moving onto Sanur. Unfortunately the rooms are incredibly tired and would benefit from a major refurbishment / freshen up. The food at the restaurant was great; however when it came to ordering dessert, almost all options were not available despite the hotel being very quiet. This was disappointing."

"Tanah Gajah was by far the most relaxing vacation my wife and I have ever had. From our villa with infiti pool looking on to the rice paddies to the private walled accomodation, the extensive beautifully designed gardens, wonderful food by chef Dean, everything superb!
