"Room was clean and facilities as expected. Air con was noisy and the room very noisy in the early hours of the morning - unsure if this was related to air con or cleaning. Would choose a higher floor on the outside of the hotel if possible. Gym facilities and pool were great."

"Perfect for a fee nights! If you’re just wanting somewhere to sleep while exploring this was perfecting. The rooms were definitely old, but honestly it was great for a few nights"

"Disappointing and underwhelming. Arrived at 1:40 to be told room not ready (okay, check in at 2:00pm)...at 2:30 when nobody had communicated with us I enquired about room to be told about house keeping problems..I, politely replied that this wasn't my problem..when would there be a room?... I was assured they'd find out from housekeeping....15 minutes later a room. We were given a 2 for 1 drink voucher...ooh ahh. Room okay, clean. Updated bathroom...but because of modern design there is neither a door or curtain on shower... bathroom flooded every time. Would stay again, but only if nothing else available. Not value for money."

"Pleasant place to stay. The bed was great. Shower was hot. Convenient location. House keeping neglected to refill tea bags, milk & toilet tissue which was annoying. Air conditioning was great to have but noisy. In saying this, we would still be ok with staying there again."

"When I checked in, there was only one staff member available, so the process took a bit longer than expected. I had also requested two rooms as close together as possible, but they weren’t close, so we had to ask again, which was a bit inconvenient. However, another staff member assisted us well, and everything was sorted out afterwards. Overall, it was a nice, clean, and comfortable place."

"The Oaks on Market was in a great location , easy access to trams and great space in the rooms . Was quiet in the apartment and beds were comfy. All staff I had communication with were very helpful . Needed a few minor bits of maintenance in our apartment but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay . Would definitely stay again when in Melbourne. "
