The hotel is a little old. The cleaning was very good, but there were cobwebs outside as if the windows had not been opened for a long time. The pillows are so soft that you can only sleep with two of them.

A bit worse for wear

The hotel rooms are in major need of modernisation, extremely dated by modern standards. I think it is the only hotel where there as been a corby trouser press in the room. The room itself was very hot and there was no fan in the room. The pillows were just awful, they just disappeared into nothing when you put your head on them.

Wir hatten in der Nacht einen medizinischen Notfall, das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und erkundigte sich stets nach uns. Ich habe lange nicht mehr so eine freundliche zuvorkommende Art erlebt. Absolute Empfehlung. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Alles andere war auch in Ordnung.

Hotel in toller Lage direkt am Schlosspark in Merseburg. Freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück. Unser Zimmer war leider im alten Nebenhaus. Auf Grund der hohen Außentemparaturen und fehlender Klimatisierung war kein entspannter Schlaf möglich. Das Zimmer wirkte etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Macken in der Badewanne und Löcher in den Gardinen könnten jedoch bemerkt und reapriert werden.

Hotel befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude, von daher fehlen einige Annehmlichkeiten (z.B. Klimaanlage), die man sonst von einem Hotel diese Kategorie erwarten würde. Wird aber aufgewogen durch tolle Lage und Aussicht.
