With humble beginnings in the Bronze Age and later as a centreof coal mining, Mould in Flintshireis quite a remarkable place. History of Mould 

The discovery of a remarkable golden cape locally in 1833 tells us that Mould was settled asfar as the Bronze Age. However, it wasn’t until the arrival of the Normans thatMold was established as a fixed settlement. In the17th Century the coal mining industry began to becomeestablished, and today Mould has a lively population ofover 10,000 people.
