The Resident Liverpool

The Resident Liverpool

10/10 Excellent
"We were a family of four and stayed in a junior suite. We couldnโ€™t have been happier with The Resident and canโ€™t imagine getting a better hotel, better accommodation and better location in Liverpool. The hotel itself feels very upmarket. Stylish and spotless. Every member of staff we encountered were warm, friendly and efficient. We even had a hand written note in the room on arrival. The room was perfect and we just love the Ropewalks area. Close to everything and spoiled for choice in terms of restaurants. Bravo The Resident. We will definitely be back."

"This was a great hotel. We had been at several hotels in our travels and they were very helpful with everything. Giving us directions when needed. Great shower, breakfast was a nice variety, when we needed something the staff knew how to help us."

"Canโ€™t fault the hotel. Or the staff lovely big room great breakfast But unfortunately I didnโ€™t look at reviews regarding the noise level. As it was right in the middle off the bars and nightclubs scene. The noise was about till 3 am Thursday and friday night. Musics and revellers Enjoying Liverpool But cannot fault the hotel whatsoever."

Adelphi Hotel

Adelphi Hotel

8/10 Good
"The hotel stay itself was fab. Itโ€™s in a fantastic location and the room was clean and comfortable, though the mattress was very soft and nearly rolled off a couple of times with the edges being even softer. No discount for the car park even though the website mentions registering the registration at the desk. Very poor communication from the hotel itself. We received a message which said โ€˜urgentโ€™ and to check in online, which weโ€™ve never had to do in the past. Worried it was a scam (because there was a fee to do so) I messaged the hotel directly - and through Hotels.com - and instead of receiving a reply, I just kept getting the same โ€˜urgentโ€™ message about checking in online. This left me feeling worried then that my original booking wasnโ€™t genuine and I stood in the check-in queue on our day of arrival half convinced the booking didnโ€™t exist. Luckily, all was fine but the worry could easily have been avoided if only the hotel had sent a response to my messages instead of a generic automated response telling me checking in online was โ€˜urgentโ€™ when, in fact, I could simply check in at the hotel as I have always done."

The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery

The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery

8/10 Good
"The Municipal is a lovely hotel, communal areas are fabulous, it is in a great location and was immaculate. We booked it for my birthday due to it being the only 5 star hotel in Liverpool and thought we would give it a try, we normally stay in the Titanic hotel, however Iโ€™m not really sure why it is classed as a 5 star hotel. The Titanic hotel in Liverpool is far more superior in my view. We stayed in a Superior room in the municipal and I have to say I was disappointed, the rooms in the Titanic are by far better, they are around 3 x the size with lounge area and have a bath as well as a shower. We are unlikely to stay again at the Municipal but it may suit others more than us so donโ€™t be put off we just prefer something different."

"The level of service was exceptional and the staff were friendy and helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious and it was a lovely suprise to have table service instead of a buffet. It is disappointing that the hotel is due to close on the 30th September, as we would have visited again in the autumn."
