"This hotel was a case of not as good as I hoped upon booking, but not as bad as I feared upon arrival. My overarching feeling is regret that I paid more than $200 a night for a TINY room with no dresser and nowhere to effectively store belongings (the underbed drawers are already full). As a solo traveler i found the room decidedly cramped. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a room so small. It was the size of a single room occupancy residential hotel. However, the staff were really nice. They were the brightest spot of my stay. 😊 There is no parking. I hunted for street parking and found none. What this means is that one night I paid $30 to park until 11am directly across the street from the hotel - and $20 the next night about 1.5 long blocks away. The psychedelic decor (for lack of a better term) made me dizzy & claustrophobic upon arrival. I’ve never had that response to a hotel in my life and I travel frequently. It was disorienting. I didn’t care for it. The hotel made me feel old. And I’m only 44 years old. I did like the way I could hit a setting on the provided iPad and the whole room would go dark. I was in LA to work, and was dead tired at night, but had no problem sleeping and found the bed to be comfortable. There was no bathtub. Shower only. 🙁 The breakfast looked better than it tasted. Much to my chagrin I paid for a premium room and could only wonder if this was premium, what was standard? I would not stay again. But staff was great. "

"An amazing option if you want to save a ton of money but stay near the downtown area. Amazing pool, nice lobby, and really great to have two bathrooms + shower in each room. It is a bummer that you can't eat or drink outside food in the lobby or at the rooftop, but there is a common area in the basement where you can heat up your food, etc. However, with this low rate, you can't really complain about anything. "

"I have been staying at this hotel everytime we visit LA for the past 10 years, now it may not be the “top of the line”, it is still a safe and clean hotel, the rooms are clean, there is a fridge in most rooms, the beds are clean and comfortable, the showers are clean and if you need something you just ask and they try their best to accommodate you, the parking lot has always been safe for me, and it is only about 10 mins from Disneyland and 5 min from knotts berry farm, now it isn’t a 4 star hotel, but the staff and pricing is just as equal to one, so come and give it a try! You won’t be disappointed, and Lydia at the front desk, especially goes above and beyond! Thank you!"
