It’s just one block from downtown, so it’s nice and quiet but still super easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The continental breakfast was tasty. "Booked a room last minute for reasonable price. Ideally located next to Asilomar and a short, pleasant walk to the Fishwife. Make sure to check in by 8:00 pm, we almost missed it. We would have enjoyed spending more time relaxing in and around the room, but we were helping to chaperone and drive a large group of high school kids who camped at Veteran's Park. I recommend this place if the price is right, and if you want to walk directly to beach or go bike riding. Aside from the Fishwife, it's a short jaunt to Pacific Grove downtown or to other chill restaurants/Safeway just up the hill by David and Highway 68."
