Lovely hotel, excellent staff, great dinner and breakfast. I love the onsen experience. We stayed multiple nights so we can try all the baths. There is a walking path along the lake. We took the hotel shuttle bus to Morioka to explore and took the local bus back. Very convenient and easy to navigate.

First Time, Not Last Time

It was a large facility with a beautiful view of the lake. The view was even better due to the leaves changing colour. The hot springs baths were wonderful. The meals were spectacular as well.

最初の印象で評価がきまりました。

宿泊時に南部曲がり家の湯の片方の露天風呂が故障しており、利用できまませんでした。それは仕方ないと思うのですが、「～予めご了承ください。」という記載があり、もしそう伝えるなら予約時だろう、と少し不満を覚えました。 部屋は一般的な広さで不満はありません。8Fのレイクビューの為、窓からの景色は見事でした。網戸についた大量の埃が気になりましたが、それ以外は概ね問題ありまえん。 大浴場は二つあります。 前述の大浴場は源泉かけ流しで泉質も良い感じで、非常に満足度が高かったです。それ故、露天の故障は残念でした。 もう一つの大浴場は眺めが売りのようでしたが、2Fにあること、駐車場が下にあることから、露天風呂からの眺めを、駐車場からの目隠しで遮らざるを得ず、また電線などの関係から、部屋からの眺めの方が全然良いため、入る価値を感じられませんでした。 夕食は会席料理に加え、ステーキやそば、のっぺ汁などがバイキング形式で楽しめます。量的には非常に満足のいくものでしたが、テーブルに対して目いっぱい並べられており、かつバイキングからも持ってくるので、お皿の配置のやりくりに苦労しました。 なお、バイキングで提供されたステーキはインジェクションビーフ（霜降り加工肉）でしたが、これはホームページにも記載されており、予め了承しておりました。 ステーキソースが美味しかったので、わざわざ過去いう肉を使わなくても良いのではないかとは思いました。 朝食もバイキング形式でしたが、じゃじゃ麺があったのが嬉しかったです。 最初に「ん？」と思ってしまったので、減点法で見る感じになってしまったのが残念です。

Convenient and good Onsen

Amazing view, great baths, comfortable rooms

The hotel is situated directly in front of the lake with magnificent panoramic views if you choose a room with a lakeside view. It is quite dated but very well maintained and the onsen is very enjoyable. I would recommend to eat dinner elsewhere but the breakfast is good. Minibar in the rooms are well stocked and perfect for staying in the room and watching the sunset.

温泉と食事に満足

複数のお風呂があり、趣の違う温泉を楽しめました。露天風呂からも部屋からも、湖と山々を眺めることができます。夕食は地のものを使ったしゃぶしゃぶやお造りに加えてビュッフェ形式でさまざま供され、満足できる内容でした。盛岡駅と小岩井農場にはホテルのシャトルバスと路線バスがあり、車はなくてもアクセス可能です。ただ、盛岡駅からのシャトルバスは16時発が最終ということで、他地域を観光してから盛岡に着くと利用はできなかったです。路線バスはもっと遅くまであるので大丈夫です。
