The Kings Arms

The Kings Arms

8/10 Good
"Generally I liked the pub. The downside was that hot food isn't available on Sunday evenings. There's not really much choice either, so I had to go to the nearby Chinese restaurant. Also cooked breakfasts aren't provided."

 The Pheasant Hotel, Holt, Norfolk

The Pheasant Hotel, Holt, Norfolk

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed two nights in a very well appointed room which, despite being right next to the kitchen, was quiet and peaceful. The staff were, without exception, warm and friendly and other guests we spoke to, who were regular visitors to the chain, were very complimentary about all of the hotels. The grounds were a delight to walk in and the whole hotel a pleasure. If I were to criticise anything, it would be that I had to ask morning coffee to be made stronger and that my wifeโ€™s special diet meals were unimaginative. They met the brief, but were bland and boring. Nevertheless, we will definitely return as it was both a wonderful stay and convenient for us visiting a friend in Holt."

"Room was clean. Bathroom was very tired though. We did use the swimming pool area and the changing rooms were filthy, needs a good clean and refurb. Staff were lovely and location perfect, 10 minute walking distance into the seaside town. We would stay again but maybe bit over priced for what it is."
