"The home was like staying at grandma’s house, complete with dust bunnies and spider webs. It’s a cute home in a great location to explore Acadia. We watched deer from the porch. It was a fantastic stay in that regard. RedAwning … a different story. They got our check in date wrong, so we could not get into the property until almost midnight. "This place blew my expectations out of the water. The staff was very friendly upon arrival and very informative. We had dinner in the lodge the first night and the serving sizes were so large and good. The tent itself was beyond what I could've imagined. My fiance loves camping and it was his birthday and this was his surprise. I hate camping but I can do glamping and this was perfect for both our tastes. It was cozy inside and the amenities were excellent. We had a fire one night with the free firewood and went in the pool and the hot tub. We were there on warm days and it was still cool inside, even so that we used the heaters but in a good way. Very close to everything we needed but still far enough away that we felt like we were actually glamping. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it whole heartily to anyone."

"The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. It's a great location, walkable to many restaurants and shops. One issue --I was in one of the smaller buildings. They are located on a rather steep hill, above the parking area. The issue is the room numbers are very small. I had to drag my luggage up a hill and go from small building to small building until I found the one I needed. They need larger numbers. :) Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay."
