This was our second time at Residency Sarovar Portico Mumbai. It’s a great and clean property but what stands out is the staff friendliness, co-operation and their willingness to go beyond for you. Our breakfast was arranged at 6:30 am as we had to leave early for the two days.

Ac did not work, allotted different room after but each time we called reception did not respond. For everything we had to go personally to reception as they will never answer any calls. 3 people at desk not helpful and very rude to my father. They also did not care how many times you go, they give you same answer and upon saying that will leave a review. The manager said, do as you please. Such a shame, this was disrespectful and hopeless experience

After reading online reviews I booked a room in this hotel, in Nov-2019. The room was fine and the bathroom was also pretty clean. However was not able to sleep whole night due to Air-Conditioner stopping every 30 minutes. I called the front desk two times to get the issue fixed, but no resolution. Hotel did not had courtesy to say sorry and give me another room with functional ameneties. I will not come to this hotel in future. Very bad experience.

I have stayed here many times. Always service is very good. Very friendly staff including reception,restaurant,porter and housekeeping. Always clean room, bathroom,linen and towels. In particular we would like to give credit to Raziay and Tabassum, housekeeping staff.

Good place to stay.
I truly do not have anything bad to say about this hotel. I have given most of my ratings as good and excellent. It meets my expectations in most ways. Staffs are friendly and service oriented. It is quite conveniently located near to two malls. It is off the main street so you can enjoy the quietness except for the occasional faint prayers from nearby mosque but nothing too disturbing though.

Room small but nothing terrible. Simple breakfast.
The rooms are a little tide, but its fine to sleep. The hotel is located 1 hour from the south part of the city(Churchgate Train Station) around 500 rupies by uber. The breakfast is simple for continental preferences, 80% indian food.

My favorite hotel in Mumbai
Everyone was super friendly at this hotel. The staff was professional, and went above- and- beyond to give excellent customer service. Every small issue that I might have was solved immediately. The bed was very comfy, with many big, fluffy pillows. And the free breakfast had so many choices, I found myself eating 2 huge plates of food every morning, just to try different things (and still could not try them all) The neighborhood was safe for me to walk around alone, as I am a middle-aged, single, American woman who is traveling in Mumbai by herself. The neighborhood has restaurants, coffee shops, chemists (drug stores), places to buy water/ beer/ snacks. I never felt the least bit afraid venturing out alone in this neighborhood by myself. The local shop keepers and restaurant owners in the neighborhood were very kind to me, as well. All in all, this was the best hotel that I've stayed at in Mumbai.

Hotel was nice, quiet and clean. Most staff were very friendly and English speaking. I was unwell one day and house keeping were very sensitive to this and assisted to make me more comfortable, which was most appreciated.

Great hotel with exceptional staff
Nirmal and Danish were exceptional in their service to us, and really helped us feel welcome. They especially went out of their way to help us get cash in the current climate. We found the location of the hotel difficult to convey to a number of taxi and rickshaw drivers, which was the only negative.

Really terrible staff with no training - this hotel is not worthy of any star ratings at all. I asked for a room service menu, was told by the front desk that it is in the room already. I told him that it is not there, received a reply that I will get it. The menu did not come to my room for the rest of my stay. Breakfast was not included in the package from Expedia - which I was unaware of. i was told that breakfast is chargeable after I had started eating, even though the manager had taken down my room number as I was entering the dining area. Gym is extremely unkempt. Even at 7 pm everything remains switched off, sometimes some guys will completely occupy the gym and exercise without even wearing proper gear (read shirtless running on treadmill). And there is no dedicated staff for the gym so you dont even know whom to contact for help.

Centralised hotel
I was a single girl staying at the hotel. It is a very safe place and I was looked after very well. The rooms were spacious and clean and so were the bathrooms. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I had an excellent stay. Would definitely recommended the place.
