- Condescending and passive-aggressive employee at check-in - Room was dirty at check-in (brown spots on walls, water puddle in the bathroom) - Broken "table"; shower temperature constantly alternating; A/C not working - Free "snacks" were unavailable most days, even at 7-8am - Other than that it was OK, great location

The hotel is conveniently located in front of subway entrance. Good restaurants around the hotel. Great service from male staff in the lobby. He suggested us with good local German restaurants. Very helpful. Heard a fight at 4am from room next door. Sounded like someone was pushed into the wall. There was a leak around the windows allowing the water to come in, making window sills wet. There was black mold near the windows caused by the water leak.

The location and price of the hotel is the big selling point. Rooms are really small but ultra modern and every bit of space utilised. If you are looking for a romantic trip away then this is not the hotel for you... If you are looking for a central Base to explore Munich then this is ideal

The room is a bit small and makes it a bit hard to move around for 2 person, more so to open the luggage needs a bit of skillful manoeuvring. Hotel staff at the check in counter wasn't too friendly but doesn't bother us too much. What I like is that it's near to the town square, convenient in terms of food and transportation while at the same time it's nice for the hotel to provide free snacks (breads) all day long and free coffee or tea. Overall it was a pretty decent stay if you're on a budget.

Modern and clean
We stayed for 3 nights, on a longer trip. It’s a simple hotel room very close to the city center. But don’t get me wrong, it was simple, but totally comfy, modern and extremely clean. You have coffee or tee always available and pretzels. In the morning you get a bigger selection. I’m most happy about the quality of the pillows and duvet. Best sleep in this trip so far.

Great place for a short stay or if you plan to spend very little time in your room. The room itself is extremely small (it felt as if we were staying in an RV). However, check-in was very easy, staff was very friendly and the location is a short walk away from everything.

Good location and reasonable price. Room itself was great and very secure building and hallways needed key card to get into hallways near your room. Amenities in the room fine but hotel just had a vending machine but for this trip I didn’t t need anything else. Close to shops. Quirky hotel would stay again for a similar kind of trip.

Disorganised, Slaphappy, Unreliable and Uncontactable. We booked and paid for 3 nights via Expedia. It took 36 hours to get to Munich owing to snow. We phoned Buddy to say we would be a day late, please keep the room. No reply. We sent a message via Buddy's site. We asked Expedia to contact them. THREE separate attempts to tell them to keep the room. We arrive after a tough day on the trains. The Hotel says it doesn't read its messages and has given away our room. (The unfortunate receptionist was a star and did his best for us). They rebooked us in a partner hotel a mile further from the centre. We originally chose Buddy for its location. Poor performance by both Buddy and Expedia.

A little cold and slow internet
Wish the heaters actually worked since fall in Germany gets quite cold already. The internet is not strong enough for remote work either so I had to hotspot from my phone to be able to have a strong enough connection for Google Meetings and small 6~8gb file transfers. View to the main street was great too. Noise sensitive people may want to avoid that due to street cars being a tad loud. Parking garage was hellishly small, avoid with big cars if you can. Oh and service is amazing and super friendly.

It is a new Hotel you have all in the room in small space. Nice big Shower. The sink is in the room. Close to the main Train station on the Karlplaz right at the entrance of downtown Munich. You have the metro and tram station very near by.

Clean and tidy hotel, friendly and helpful personnel, accessibility to sightseeing - historical site of Munich. Very small for two people. However for one night OK. Room temperature control is too complex, the space programmable thermostat has very tiny display, perhaps a little introduction for Non-German guests would help.

The location was great! You can't get into the downstairs entrance without a key card, but if you haven't checked in yet you don't have a key... I had to wait for someone to come out. Needing a key is good to keep the panhandlers out of the building though. If you get there earlier than 3:00 (check in time) you will need to store your baggage in the sub basement - make sure you have euro coins to put in the lock. The rooms were VERY small. and two people barely can move around - but location and price were good.

The room was really clean. The style is compact but very practical. Location is conveniently walking distance from the Central train station, Marienplatz and the Octoberfest grounds. Not much staff and not many amenities but sill great value for the price.

It was the best hotel I stayed during my month travel to Europe. I booked this hotel for the great location for my next morning Romantic road bus trip . Small but nice , with all great amenities you need for short stay. Coffee machine in the room was a great plus. There is no breakfast but free fresh pastries and coffee to go every morning. It was great! Staff was helpful and friendly. Will stay again.
