This is a great place to stay. Hotel and rooms were clean. Great place to stay with families.They have a breakfast buffet at the hotel that was really good.The staff at the hotel were really helpful and friendly. You can buy train tickets at the front desk.The neighborhood is really nice and quiet with a lot bakeries nearby. They are a lot of good restaurants nearby too.Easy walk to the S bahn and U bahn.

My room was rather hot. It also backed up to the parking lot that was noisy from very early morning hours although it was Oktoberfest. The room had loud mechanical noise from around 5:30am. The area was far from central or anything of interest.

I enjoy the Orly because the rooms are neat and clean and a decent size with a working desk. The breakfast is great and the staff very helpful. The 500 m walk to the U Bahn is very convenient. Best of all, you are out of the tourist district but surrounded by good restaurants frequented by locals.

Room was great and modern. No a/c but did have a tower fan which helped as it was unusually hot and very humid during our stay. Hotel staff was very friendly and recommended a place for lunch as we arrived prior to check in and stored our bags in a secured luggage room.

Parking was extremely small and limited (especially for the price). Rooms were extremely small. Staff was friendly and nice. Breakfast was very good.

Pictures are accurate. It is very clean and close to public transportation, so if you are interested in going to say, Old Town, it is a very convenient location. It is very good value. It is also located in a "residential" area so it is very quiet. Something for your consideration: - I was staying in the corner room on the 1st floor, so wifi is VERY weak. Constant disconnect with both laptop and cell phone; cannot hold a video conversation (voice-only is fine on a cell phone) - during my stay, Munich was very hot in the daytime (35C ). There is NO AC in the room, but the staff did provide a fan. Given the night temperature is around 20C, it is quite acceptable/comfortable at night. - Unfortunately for me, my room is next to the parking lot. Given the temperature, I had to keep the windows open, so privacy/noise level was degraded when, for example, guests are leaving with children in the morning. If your room is not at the ground level and not at the corner, your experience may differ from that of mine. All in all, I would give it the benefit of the doubt that my stay would have been more positive.

The staff are rude and unhelpful and though I explained and showed them countless times about the VIP parking benefit, the first night there was no room so we paid for street parking and they tried to charge me for the subsequent nights and claimed they never heard of this benefit. After 15 mins finally the manager relented but I could hear them taking about me as I left. The parking attendant was very rude to my husband. Never have I felt so unwelcome in a hotel. The area is lovely and the room was fine but the staff made it the most unpleasant.

Breakfast was amazing for a property this size. Incredible choice and lovely presentation. Freshly squeezed orange juice, Brez'n, Weisswürste, Cereals, fresh bread rolls, and so much more. Room was small but functional and staff helpful. Construction across the street is a bit of a nuisance, but not the hotel's fault. Recommend this hotel for a short stay in Munich.
