Museum at Fairmont Peace Hotel

This is a great hotel for kids. The room was spacious and modern and it had a slide in it which my 2 year old and 4 year old loved. Lots of things for kids to do but some things didn’t look that well maintained we didn’t try it. There is a ball pit, swing and an outdoor slide and swing which were fun bonuses. The property looks a little run down from the outside during the day unlike the photos which were taken at dusk with great lighting. Also, the location is not great. There is nothing in walking distance. So food and shopping needs a taxi. The free shuttle service was perfect. All in all, it was still a good stay for one night.

If you’re booking this place for an amazing room with an amazing view and a bath tub by the window you will not be disappointed. If you are booking this for the pool area, don’t get your hopes up, it feels more like a public bath house than a luxury hotel pool, similar feel with the spa. The overall hotel and rooms are nice, I just felt like they needed a deep clean and a bit of TLC, grouting etc. light switches and AC seemed to have a mind of their own and didn’t always respond to pressing the light switches. I loved staying here, but that’s my constructive criticism. It misses a few of those tick boxes that take it upto being a world class hotel. More of an Instagram hotel that looks great for the pictures
