"I can’t say enough good things about this hotel.
The property is not quite as rustic as some of the others in Siena - it looks like it was updated inside about 10-15 years ago but it’s still in wonderful shape - just not quite rustic or very modern.
Coming from a hotel the night before that was also wonderful but rustic I found the better AC and more modern interior amenities a welcome change.
I was in a nice big room on the 8th floor with a stunning view from the window and a soaker tub and we loved it.
The staff is what really makes this property stand out and why I’d not consider staying anywhere else in Siena next time I come.
From the bellhop who parked my car and brought my luggage up - remembering our names two days later when he had to get the car.
From the wonderful lady at the front desk who upgraded my room for a tiny fee when she found out we were on our honeymoon.
They even got me a reservation that very same night (Saturday of Palio!) at a Osteria da Divo.

"VIP was excellent. Check in was easy. Our appartment was spacious and had beautiful views. Parking is easy and close. I highly recommend for a family."
Grand Hotel Continental Siena – Starhotels Collezione
10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I had a wonderful time. The hotel is spacious, nice and clean, as you would expect at a 5 star hotel. The location couldn’t be better. Hotel personnel is highly professional. You won’t find a better place to have breakfast than at the hotel. "
"The building, the views, the staff, the food, everything was just incredible. It was so quiet we felt like we were the only people there until we went for breakfast and realised there were others in the hotel. The view from the our room at the back of the hotel over the Tuscan hills will live with me for a very long time. "
"Pietro, our host, was wonderful.
He was very helpful and recommended us to go to his friends restaurant called Bogoga which was amazing. Extremely well located apartment. Thanks for a great day.."
