I liked that the property is beach front inexpensive and was a mile from the event I was attending for the week. For my dislikes the staff could be more informative and proactive when checking in guest. Can also show a sense of urgency take accountability when dealing with issues.Safety is a serious issue here! I woke up Saturday night April 20th to someone breaking into my room. Luckily the person ran off and no one was hurt. I also noticed yellow dots outside some of the rooms and immediately felt as if the guest were being watched. If you stay here please be aware of your surroundings! If you're part of the "2A" community and can legally carry have it within a hands reach at all times! There's no security on the premises!

Staff, well front desk woman, tall blackish hair was so rude, it was almost to the point I was going to say, keep your damn room I’m going somewhere else. My room was good. Although didn’t get the room with a balcony that I booked online just got the room with an oceanfront view. But their front desk people really need some customer service skills just because of this woman I will not return there again.

I like to walk down to the beach from the hotel and anywhere else that’s walking distance. My card kept stop working every time I came back to the room.

No coffee pot, or other items they leave for guest. Asked for ocean view didnt realize it doesnt have balcony with certain rooms. Had to asl for tp and towels alot and didn't recieve them. No trash bags. 1 small trash can. They doing work on the hotel. Parking garage closed. Ocean view pool closed for remodeling. Some things should be listed so we know what to expect. Instead of going and facing all this once we get there.

Thank you for your review. You chose and booked the room online. It states the type of room when booking. Either balcony or no balcony. We stopped putting coffee pots in the room after Covid. We are doing some remodeling this off season. Our guests are allowed to use the pools at our sister property next door. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You can't watch TV unless you have a iPhone to connect your internet they have a smart TVs with no internet not everyone has iPhones the air conditioner wouldn't cool the room

The lamp didn't work the phone didn't work the TV. Didn't work the microwave didn't work and the maid never came around. I think I should get some of my money back we could not watch TV the whole time we were there.

These rooms were not nice at all. Sheets had spots on them not to mention no comforters on beds and no phones in rooms. Very disappointing.

Hopefully cleaner during peak season
Staff was excellent and friendly! First room we got wasn't made. Keys wouldn't work for the second room and the third room was nice with a great ocean view and patio. The house keeping staff must have been off because all the other used bedding and trash from each room was left all over the walkway.

Room was ok but needed many updates. We had an excellent view of ocean but it Wasn't the best weather at the time. Was quiet because not many customers there there. Could have used extra blankets, wind came in under the door.

We liked the ocean view, the easy parking, the closeness to the boardwalk. What we did not like was that the first room we were given had a dirty carpet, huge clumps of dog fur. The second room had a toilet which was not clean. The third room was clean and acceptable. Bathroom was clean and shower was hot. Beds were clean and comfortable. The property is not well maintained, plenty of room for improvement.

They cancelled my reservation without asking me or informing me. I showed up to check in and they then informed me that they had cancelled my reservation and there were no more like rooms available. They didnt offer any solutions or apoligies, and instead were rude to me. This was quite an incomvenience to have to find anither available room on last minute notice. Very dissapointing experience.

Room was very dirty. Mirrow dirty, Bathroom dirty and someone's hair was on the mirrow ledge. TV was awful and kept roaming and cutting completely off. Internet was too slow to paint a picture on Facebook. They purchase the cheapest package of the internet and TV so they can at least advertise that they have it but it is too slow. Will never stay there again. Suggest you take it off your list.

Thank you for your review. I did talk to the Housekeeping supervisor about the cleanliness of the room. Our internet is 500 meg so it is the industry for hotels. The cable is being upgraded as we speak.

At check in they charged an additional fee that was not disclosed prior to booking and paying online. The rooms were dirty. There was trash scattered and thrown around the outside of the building. They advertised an ocean view room and it was on the corner of the building with no balcony. No blankets on the bed. The pictures on their site are not true to the nature of the facility.

Thank you for your review. The room you booked was a oceanfront room with picture window. Some guests sit there trash outside their room door for the houseman to get in the morning. Blankets are available, all you have to do request them. Sorry you were disappointed.

Trash wasnt picked up the whole week. Room smelled like weed every time we came in, I assume from the neighbors. There was so much noise from the other room at 2-3am we still couldn’t sleep. Had to go to office to ask for towels because there was never any replaced. Cops came multiple times a day almost every day.

Thank you for your review. After covid we stopped daily housekeeping. Trash left out by guest rooms are picked up daily. Towels and linens are exchanged at the front desk. Also soap and shampoo is available there also. Noisy guests should have been reported to us. We would have asked them to leave. The Police do stop by often. We let them use our office bathroom.

Had no remote for TV first night - had to wait until next day for maintenance to bring another, parking was horrible - they share a lot with another hotel across the street, no comforter on bed, and the entire place was nasty. Also had a broken chair from previous guests in our room. No housekeeping services and front desk staff was useless.

I would rate a zero if I could. When I arrived I was told that my reservation had been canceled because my card was declined but they could offer me a room. They charged me almost twice the rate as Expedia. When I arrived at the room I found it to be in very poor condition with torn carpets, Old cracking paint, filthy bathroom tile, no phone cord for the telephone and no comforts for the beds. Before turning in to sleep a roach ran across the wall. If I could have, I’d have slept in my car. I believe a complete refund is deserved.

The door frame was busted and all night it sounded like someone was fiddling with the lock. There was mold on the ceiling. Sheets were filthy when we arrived. Sketchy. But the ac worked and it was beach front so I'll give it an extra star for that.

I will not go back. First room we were sent to hadn’t been cleaned. Second room we were sent to only had sheets on bed and we couldn’t get a blanket till the next. Dirty towels hanging on back of the second room. I wouldn’t walk on floor without shoes. Bathroom floor was really gross. Everything was wore down in room. I could have went to a cheaper place and had more cleanliness than this place.

Good, bad and ugly.
Starting with the good. Price, price price! location, location, location! Can't beat waking up and sitting on the balcony to watch the ocean. That being said, you will have to bring your own coffee maker, they do not supply them anymore. Do not believe their amenities list. They did have a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. That's about all that was clean though. The bathroom was somewhat clean except for the dead bugs on the floor, the broken water handle with mold. I could live with it though. the absolute worse though was the staff. The older lady was awesome and welcoming. The other two acted they could care less. This was the only reason I started to doubt my stay.

Very Poor Nasty people and hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE
The most horrible place Ive stayed. The peopke were terrible. Gave us the wrong room and blamed us. I booked 2 rooms exactly the same with balconies. And adjoining rooms or beside each other. Checked in and one room wasnt yet ready so we had to go back to get the other room key. Now the fight begins. Telling us we didnt reserve another room. And wed have to pay for another room. Oh no. She actually made me show where i booked 2 rooms and then tried telling me it meant 2 bedroom. I said come on im not that stupid because that room isnt worth $400....this lady was horrible and had no clue. We will never stay in this place again. And still ended up 3 floors apart and one with balciny and one without. Absolutely did not get what I reserved and ended up blaming me and hotels.com for the mess up....Not to mention the actual fight one of theemployees had in the parking lot in front of my grand daughters. Not to mention the straight out drug dealing in the parking lot and the ladies just ignore. If you have kids stay away....it might be cheap but its cheap for a reason. Last but not least we were told they had no wash rags and took a day and a half to get towels. Never got wifi password. Tv never worked...was tild someone woykd come fix it but no one evercame. So no tv the whole vacation.... i demanded a refynd and this woman wouldnt give us one. But a man walks in walting a refund because his wife hated it...there was no toilet paper tv or towels . He got his refund.

All that was said in other reviews is true…cockroaches ( yes)…. Towels. ( yes… arrival we were greeted with a total of two towels and one washcloth for two people)…and balcony door didn’t lock.

Thank you for your review. We do have the rooms sprayed by a pest control company. Since covid we have stopped doing daily maid service. We exchange towels in the office during your stay. I inspected this room and have addressed the issues. I did not see any cockroaches.
