"lived there for 3 nights, the staff is very warm, you will received a warm welcome almost everytime passing through front desk. The room is super clean with tons of curated amenties to choose from will definitely recommend to everyone who's considering Nagano trip."

"I stayed at the JAL for 8 nights and was happy with the service. The location is great as it is a short walk to Zenkoji Temple, the Prefectural Museum and also to Nagano JR Station. Nagano was a fascinating city to visit and the JAL was situated in a good location for finding amenities such as shopping and food. I love to walk and I really enjoyed exploring the area around the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although my room was rather crowded with 3 beds, it was kept clean and well stocked. My only complaint was that the breakfast for a Westerner was very limited and got predictable very quickly. The food was very good, presented well and tasted fine but after 8 breakfasts eating the same things I was ready for a change."
