"I stay here all the time and always have a good experience. The staff is great, especially the manager, Monique. I even eat here sometimes when I’m staying elsewhere—the food is reasonably priced and decent. Breakfast included is a plus."
Azul Beach Resort Negril, Gourmet All Inclusive by Karisma
8/10 Good
"My family found Azul to be a beautiful resort in a fantastic location in Negril. The beach is calm and warm- just steps from hotel rooms. All the staff was excellent during every encounter- kind, polite, friendly, & helpful. There may have been 1 or 2 times a server was quiet/aloof but never rude. Tipping 1-2 dollars per service was very common here but servers were thankful and didn't automatically expect it. The rooms were quite comfortable and any signs of being outdated were minimal. The beds were great and the whole resort was very clean at all times. The shower was spacious but water pressure and temp would fluctuate from warmish to hot to cold and would turn to a literal trickle for 5 seconds before returning to normal. This occurred all week, no matter the time of day- weird but tolerable. There is a lack of towels that was not addressed by management. If you leave dirty towels for housekeeping they are not replaced. There are no bath mats and you have to get up before 8:00am to get pool/beach towels. They do not get refilled for the rest of the day unless a beach attendant pities you or you gave them a good tip the day before. Bringing your own beach towels & floats is your best bet. If you want a cabana/bed or even chairs, you have to save them before 7:00am. The food was nothing special. There was plenty to eat but the buffets were boring. The coffee bar was great. Overall it was a wonderful trip, but you should know it's not quite 5-star excellence..."
"Cottage room was lovely and clean. Although at one end of the beach we walked daily to experience all 7 mile beach has to offer.
Food and drink was reasonably priced however food service quite slow. Would recommend for couples or families wanting a break from All Inc hell!!"
"So the hotel itself was “ok”. However, the pool closed early (5:30) and they have “limited” activities so you have to spend more money to go somewhere to do things…for that stay at a better hotel. The staff was friendly though"
"From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. The owner personally welcomed us, and the doorman was sweet—honestly, everyone working here was topnotch. They take care of everything you need.
The Welcome & Dining: We checked in early & offered wine upon arrival, and dinner at the restaurant was yum—tasty food with a stunning ocean view. The restaurant attracts international travelers; we met guests from Spain and France stopping by for lunch, which added to the atmosphere.
The Room & Amenities: Our room was large & clean with comfortable beds and a balcony perfect for sitting in a swing. Don't worry too much about booking an ocean-view room—ours had one, but the cliff-side umbrella and chair setup is so good that you can always walk down to the ocean and sit there. The fridge was large enough to hold all our snacks and special food items we brought from home, and the staff even offered to store anything needing cold storage in their kitchen. The turndown service was amazing, and the WiFi worked.
Location & Activities: The hotel is quiet and is on the quieter end of Negril but close to everything—an easy walk to restaurants, Rick's Café, and lots of great shopping. The place isn't full of loud events, parties, and music, but you're near all kinds of things when you want them. There's an amazing pool good for toddlers and a great gym for getting some exercise.
Thoughtful Service:Lifeguards on duty support you if you feel a little worried about jumping in the sea"
"The best part about Negril Palm is it ambience. The place is in need of some very serious upgrades and TLC. Fixtures and furniture are completely out of date, even the tolls in the bathroom needs to be thrown away with and replaced with new towels they may be clean but they don't even look white."
