Sunset at the Palms Resort - Adults Only - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"Sunset at the Palms was unlike any other resort we have stayed at. The rooms are like treehouses, with a main bedroom, a bathroom, and otherwise surrounded by nature. Other reviews mention the property being dated, which is true, but the staff handle any issues with timeliness and kindness. The water connection to various parts of the property was disrupted multiple times, but staff fixed things quickly. The beach is absolutely beautiful and there was never an issue finding beach chairs. The water is crystal blue, the hot tub was great, the drinks were solid, and the food was fantastic. Usually every time my husband and I leave the country, we get some GI upset, but this was not the case for the first time in all of our travels! The coffee bar was an excellent touch. I can definitely see why people return multiple times. It truly is a great place to relax. There are couches, books, boardgames, and quiet. It is not a party resort, but rather an upscale foresty beach vibe that focuses on peace and relaxation. We would love to return! Special shoutout to Jason and Cornelius who were the absolute best! Also shoutout to Albert who helped with our water adventures :) Overall, if you can get a deal, would highly recommend checking this place out!"

Hotel Riu Negril - All Inclusive

"We stayed in a beachfront two room suite. We were in building 3. The room itself was great, only one bathroom though. The amenities for our 3 teenage boys aged 14,15, and 19 were perfect. Our boys played volleyball for hours and the entertainment staff were incredible especially Shadow and Twig. We are so grateful for our stay. You will not get incredible service at the bars it is too busy so just don't expect it. However, every server we had at breakfast went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We chose not to dine at the fancy restaurants except Luigi and it was good. We will definitely be back."

"We stayed as a family group of 5 adults in the travellers two bedroom suit. The suit is huge with a kitchen, dining , lounging area seperating the two rooms. The main bedroom has a large balcony over looking the garden area along with a smaller balcony over looking the front entrance leading from the dining area. The suit has been newley renevated, the finishes are not the best but the desighn is aesthetically pleasing. Value for money I can not recommend the this suit enough. Travellers is a boutique hotel if you are looking for an allinclusive resort this is not it, however if you enjoy are a more intimate layed back vibe then travellers is a perfect choice. A pool, games room, gym, resturant, bar and beach all within easy walikng distace was perfect for two members of our group with mobility problems. The staff are friendly professional and helpful, which is one thing I feel Jamaica needs to improve on. The property is clean throughout, the beach is beautiful and perfect for any non swimmers as the water is shallow for a good amount of depth. I recommend staying at travellers if you are in Negril for a few days."
