This hotel was amazing! Authentic Green Book Hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Irma Thomas room and got to see Irma Thomas perform at Jazz Fest live! They had live music every night. Book a trip here.

We knew it was loud but didnt realize our room was literally over the stage and pictures shook on the walls the whole time. We also booked a room for 2 Kings and got 2 Queens, but i think thats an Expedia error. Cool place but i would not stay here again.

I had a great time there! I can't recommend this place enough. I only stayed one night, I would have wanted to stay longer. I was given the "Allen Toussaint " it was on the street side but it was still very quiet. I will be returning to stay longer.

This is such a fantastic place. The staff was amazing. Rooms were so cool. The beds were comfortable and towels were plush. There is also a music club on site which was fun. When we went to bed the music was still playing but I popped in some earplugs they provided and I was out like a light. The area around the hotel I probably would not walk through at night but it was fine during the day.

The staff at the Dew Drop Inn were wonderful as was the pool. The staff were very knowledgeable of New Orleans and cared about where you were going and took time to hear about your day time adventures when you returned home each evening. The rooms where spacious and comfortable. I would recommend if you are looking for a boutique style hotel with entertainment on site.

Really enjoyed staying here. The renovations look amazing. The staff were even better!!! They went above and beyond for us and everyone. The area was hit hard by Katrina. Glad to see this historic place back on its feet. The band Friday night was brilliant too! As was the bar! Hope there will be some investment in the surrounding areas as week in the near future.

The hotel is historic, and recently renovated, so it is in excellent shape. It is nice to stay in a smaller hotel where you have personal attention and the staff recognizes you. The staff is very cordial. The neighborhood is well kept. One drawback is the lack of nearby dining options, but that will be solved in a few weeks (I think) when the hotel will open a restaurant/music venue. Public transportation is thin here, but I used uber to get to the convention center for meetings (about 10 min), and this turned out to be fine. Even after adding this cost, it was far less expensive to stay here than near the Convention Center, and it felt much friendlier.

Center City is going through hard times (and has been for a long time) so the area is depressed, but the reformed Dew Drop is the beginning of the solution. It’s a cultivated museum of a place to stay and its people and intentions are amazingly sweet.
